Hi
Just want to say went to Abfabs on Friday night, 1st ever time and had an enjoyable evening, even though did not play, it was fun to see such a superbly mixed crowd.
If anyone saw us would love to know. |

I was there on Friday too - club was really busy! Even tho it was supposed to be Greedy Girls night, the attendees were predominantly couples and there weren't too many single guys at all.
I did notice one group of guys slipping the desk staff a £20 note as a tip as they hadn't pre-booked but were let in anyway. The couples list was huge at the front desk.
Personally I would have preferred more singles, as couples can go on a Saturday. |

Yes, I would definitely go again, was very pleasantly surprised. Only had two criticisms, one would build a good atmosphere if the dance floor was bigger & used more ( my partner loves to dance ) & secondly some thieving devil(s) stole" 3/4 of the bottle of Jack Daniels in the Fridge. Another couple we spoke to had the same happen to them with a bottle of Rum. Ideally think a staffed "bar" where you show a number to get your drink would be perfect, as it does kind of spoil a lovely evening when someone does that.
There were a lot of couples present and cannot speak for how the numbers of single guys compared, I guess would have been good if there were more. |

AbFabs (sensibly, in my view), limit the number of single men they allow in on a Friday, and require them to pre-book to guarantee entry. The number of spaces available is based on how many women and couples have pre-booked, so if a lot of them just turn up on the night then there may not be many single men there as those in the reserve list may have made other plans.
So, if you want single guys there on a Friday, make sure you pre-book yourselves  |

I have to say, I have no problem with single guys and their number could actually have been more, if people are polite, presentable articulate & naughty minded then it builds the sexual "charge" within a place. |
