Club Partner

I've been to many clubs, in the Uk, Europe and further afield, but I find that clubs in the UK can be very awkward for a single male. Especially if you're not a regular.

I'm looking for a clubbing partner. Not necessarily to play with. More of a social meet to help break the ice at clubs and chat with other couples and singles. Do other people do this? Are there any women who look for a club partner in this way?

Do any uk clubs have any games or events that help those shy singles mingle? Been to many nights where it feels like everyone knows everyone else and it feels more intimidating to approach someone.

When visiting clubs abroad I find it's the complete opposite. Being the foreigner gives you an air of mystery and most people want to speak with you.

Interested to know if there's any 'club couples' here?

I think it's the English mentality sweet I go home to Canada a lot and it's different in the east Toronto it defiantly is. But people in Canada use clubs as opposed to sites like fab they prefure more social then sexual.

The best club I ever went to was in Toronto. Had a brilliant time there, amazing cocktails, a brilliant dj, great setting and everyone looked fabulous. Was quite a few years ago, wonder if it's still going? Club Wicked.

Have you tried going to The Townhouse (on your own)? I hear that they look after single guys there.

Townhouse does lots of events for singles and is guy friendly. I have passed your details onto one of our party hosts/member of the events team who specifically runs events for singles who have the same concerns/requests that you have raised.

Ps, I'm not palming you off by the way, I'm in Germany and having some time off xxx

Hey... we are members of the Townhouse events team and club hosts. We are very single guy friendly and often reflect this in the way we plan and price our parties.

The Townhouse Newbie & Notsos night every Wednesday (when males can apply for membership and go through an induction process) are now with a new format. We have hosts (Jester & Myself) or buddies (experienced club members) who are on hand to make sure no one sits in the corner alone. We have an organised social and introduce the new folk to the regulars and act as a point of contact all evening. Our last few events have seen a large group of 20 -30 people moving all the furniture in the lounge and sitting together and chatting, flirting and sharing swinging experiences for the Newbies.

We have lots of social events such as Kinky Karaoke and parties at the club aimed at singles such as Speed Dating. Speed Dating was fantastic way to get all the singles mingling and it's an event we will be running again.

A lot of our events have themes and games or ice breakers and we, as a team, put a massive amount of thought and planning into our parties.

We are always open to feedback and we focus on making the club as inclusive as possible with a friendly atmosphere. Our heavy play event RAW allows none members to attend and is really well priced for a busy Friday party night.

If you have any suggestions or have any questions about events at Townhouse then just drop us a message.

Thanks. I've been a member of the townhouse for years. The new (not so new now ) owners have done a great job. Not been for a few months now. I'm no newbie but find it's easier to engage when you're in a couple rather than a single. I'll have to try the events your hosts. Speed dating sounds like a good way to get around the room without the awkwardness of finding a witty introduction.

I think it's a flawed idea. If you go with lady, not as a play partner to engage with other couples, it's all going to go a bit weird, as at some point you're going to say only you is playing or something.

I'd just go alone, you'll get chatting to people at the bar, guys we've seen who do that fine.
