Holy shit wtf. I went there a few months ago to a nudist Friday night, it's such an amazing place. To think that something like this has happened there is really sad. I hope the poor woman recovers and the rapists get tortured in prison.
I'm fuming |

Sadly from what we experienced from the one time we went there of a Saturday night, I'm not at all surprised. Still shocking to think this happened to the poor lady who is probably a regular there. |

"We are due there this Thursday daytime now we are a bit wirried is there anyone that can assure us it's all ok and that police investigation is complete?"
Has there been an official response from Eurekas? |

An investigation into these reports will take time to complete so it won't be over by Thursday. It is alleged to have taken place around 2:30 away from the main club and security team.
You'll be fine if you decide to visit. If it's wet then head inside to relax in the hot tub. |

Yes they did respond. They said that an incident was reported and the police attended the site but that it was unlikely that any further action would be taken. It must be noted that the club's response was within 24 hours of the incident so quite how they would know that no further action was likely is a question in its own right. It was obviously quite serious as it made the national and international press. It should also be noted that Eureka is not a secure venue in as much as anyone can walk in if they wanted to. There are many ways to avoid the main gate. Being in a rural setting unfortunately lends itself to this and at night that becomes even more of a possibility. |

You are absolutely right, people should do whatever they want. They should just do it in full knowledge of what is. |

Ditto. Also, we did witness the security turning away a group of guys so they are on the ball. |

I'm not a fan of Eureka's but surely this incident should mean they put something out about how they are tightening up on security (and actually doing so)? Last time I went all I had to do was give my name at the buzzer, the barrier came up, a gruff looking bloke took my 20 quid and that was as secure as it got. I think it was only first name too. Compare that with Kestrels where you have to show ID and register with them, and you essentially get 'checked in' at the start. They know who is there, where they live, etc. It has been a while since I went to Eureka but if they still operate like this, and the cabins are easy to get into by people who didn't book them, surely they need to be doing more to tighten up?? |

Must have been a VERY long time ago. It was nothing like that when I went last week. |

That doesn't inspire confidence |

One of us is obviously lying. I guess there's only one way to settle this... |

Been going for years and recently noticed change in attitude particularly from single guys who appear to be more aggressive in their approach to couples and not giving them some space.met couple last year at another club they said would never go back to Eurekas as they or the female was penetrated without her consent whilst in playroom with few guys which is "Rape" but didn't report it as the circumstances ie naked in room with 5 guys etc so will never go back, guess difficult to police but maybe putting someone on the gate all the time they could monitor and suss out those attempting to get in stop the creepers who sneek in on foot no ID and the odd cruising car or van that drives in for a look and drives out.
I show my membership card but very rarely asked for it,perhaps set of "Rules" need to be posted as seen guys with mobiles in woods etc.
Another issue and as single guy not doing any favors to myself here but think I`am more sensible than others restrict single male entry and kick out those that "bother" the other guests but i wonder how much economics comes into it single guy £20 a time soon adds up,maybe make it £30/40 that might keep the idiots and the perpetrators of this hideous crime out |

It was a long time ago I went, about 3 and a half years. However it doesn't sound as though its as secure as it could be, and your attitude about it (getting so defensive) suggests you somehow missed what happened. You don't seem outraged by it all. If everyone had registered and shown ID, it shouldn't be hard for the police to see who was there that night and show the victim some mug shots... |

Haven't heard about that incident, Me & girlfriend used to go and stay most weekends Sat/Sunday....no cabins that I recall just crash out in the car in the woods overnight.....Oh the fun we had was truly amazing....NEVER any kind of problem...TOO much control and ID , Camaras..etc in my mind....go there to get away from all that .....don't see how you could make a site that size and remote Secure....There will always be a a way to "bypass security.....for the nutters out there....Let's hope it carries on as a relaxed place....Actually I've got time off ...might pop down this week. Trouble is Im a dreaded "Single Guy" now...lol NE1 want to join me ? |

We are going next weekend, it's a fantastic place, we love it! Best club we've been to and we travel over 2 hours to attend. Had 1 problem with a single guy being a pain in the ass but he was removed straight away by the team. You will always get the odd problem where swinging is involved |

This seems to be normal at any such place like clubs etc the single guys have to pay more every time.
When we attend clubs as a couple my wife prefers to have a better ratio of men than couples or fems but we have been to clubs where the single guys get priced out because they think why should we pay twice or three times as much as a woman/couple.
Maybe the woman involved was followed into the caravan to give the guys a show maybe they followed her with the intention or something more only the woman and the guys involved at this stage know exactly what went on that night.
If it turns out the woman was indeed assaulted then those involved should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Remember not all single guys are like this at clubs and most can behave themselves in society. |

Wrong!! Membership is now required and has been for a good few months now, no ID no entry/membership. Security on weekend party nights too. To the above couple it's apparent you do not like Eureka as most posts about the club you have to have a pop. If you don't like somewhere say your piece that's fair enough but once it's said it's said. Go enjoy other clubs but it's getting tiresome hearing you drool on at every opportunity. Remember life is short, enjoy it! Happy Swinging |

Just to add I attend Eureka as a single female once sometimes twice a month and have never ever felt my safety is at risk. Only the people involved in the alleged Incident will know the truth, so until this comes out no one should come to their own conclusions! |
