So Iv only just found the forums part of this site! What a plonker, Iv been on the site a while but never got to any of the clubs.. mainly Birmingham ones. any recommendations, any advice and how is it as a single male going there on your lonesome!!? Cheers people!  x |

Chams and xtasia are great! Though they have different vibes. With either it's definitely advisable to call ahead thoigh to discuss their policy on single guy membership. They won't guarantee it over the phone, but it may avoid a wasted trip.
As for going alone, it's best to suck up and go. A lot of people would rather see you in there than go together |

Obviously single F is very different to single M but I went to Xtasia at the start of the year on my own and everyone was really friendly. Staff great and was a good layout with central bar where you can chat while getting a drink etc.
Hit or miss on the night whether there's others there for mutual attraction (sadly none that caught my eye the night I was there but I had no hassle from anyone who asked and I said "no thanks" to either, very nice atmosphere) Good luck! |

We have encountered a few cliques in clubs, but they don't tend to bat an eyelid as anyone walks in, keep themselves to themselves so they quickly eliminate themselves from your pool of potential conversation. 99 percent of people we have found to be lovely or at least civil |

We agree with you on the Clique types but we just say, their loss.
As a single guy it may be a little more difficult to find a way into a group so maybe get a social meet in and then arrange to go to a club for a second time out, that might help.
We love Chams, found Xtasia too clique for us but again there loss. |

Exactly. No need to worry as all they're doing is self filtering. If they aren't interested in even chatting, then we can spend time with people who are, or happily alone. No big deal we aren't all suitable.
We prefer Chams ourselves, as we can walk there from home and it's a far more laid back environment. Nothing against xtasia, it's a great club, we just prefer a bigger hot tub  |

We went to Chams yesterday, our very first visit to a club and it was awesome!! All the staff and club members were friendly, the club is clean and has lots of rooms on lots of levels...we will definitely be returning |

I'm also a Chams fan, I prefer the dress down vibe.
Best idea is to call any clubs you're interested in and see what they say about single male membership. |

We like Chams, heading there again tonight if you want someone to show you about. Frankie makes a very good chaperone, haha...
Honestly though, it's a friendly no hassle place. Frankies happy enough going there solo with no problems ever. You'll be fine mate. |

We much prefer the relaxed atmosphere of chams. Xtasia is more cliquey (in our opinion) and there are people in different states of dress, some people in "proper" pub/club attire, others in underwear. Also the play areas, for us, are too close together. You can hear people chatting about their shopping/holidays etc. Not great when you're fucking!  hope this helps. Tails xx |
