Has anyone been to Route69 in Weston Super Mare? Going down around the 16th June to Brean Sands, thought we'd try it out....

We rather liked R69, it is small but very friendly, and a good mix of people.

In the oposite direction you've got Dec's I think, at Burnham which seems to be quite popular locally, though we've yet to visit.

Small, cosy, intimate and friendly. I went to Route 69 for my first ever club visit and found we (I was with a friend) were looked after really well.

I've been back on my own a few times too and felt very comfortable at the venue.

I think we looked at Dec's however got the impression it was full of the young and beautiful (of which we only half qualify) so it didn't appeal.

R69 it is then

We haven't tried R69 but been to Decs a good few times and it's a real mix of ages and aesthetics. Claire does a good job of getting a nice balance so don't discount it.
