There is a very high concentration of clubs in the north west so if you can't get in one here then you will never manage anywhere!
As above see the fab club section for a list and reviews and check individual club websites for their rules/requirements  |

I can't answer for all but clubs but I know Townhouse have a number of events that are open to non members as well as members which is a great way to get to see the club, experience what the nights are like and get to know some of the regulars. |
