Maybe they paid their entry fee to the club and can then use it any way they like as long as it's within the rules of the club.
I've been to Cupids and plenty of other clubs where I've joined in with people that I didn't know.
Are you sure it wasn't just you that they didn't want joining them? |

So an hour into a club night you're righting it off? As a single female who regularly frequents different clubs all I'm going to say is grow a set and talk to people as you're the one in the minority not the majority and if you don't let yourself be known how else do people know you're they're? |

I've managed to play in a club which my mate would swear blind was barren as the Sahara. With a woman who I SPOKE TO. I know, chatting to people, RIGHT? It is scary until you practise it a few times. Then AFTER that people start talking to YOU! The wierd bit is when they start asking you stuff. Like if you want to play. With their missus.
Then again, you could always just try touching without asking first. You get LOTS of attention then...  |

So by outside you mean in the SOCIAL areas of the club not in the playrooms as there are no sofas or pool tables outside the club! So people had the front to actually chat to each other and socialise rather than spend all their time in the playrooms for your satisfaction. I think you should give the place a wide berth from now on in that case. Along with any other decent swingers club in the country and head for brothels and sex clubs instead! |

If your perception of a club is that you walk in, buy someone a drink and suddenly they drop their knickers (or towel) then you are very much in the wrong place. Maybe it just wasn't your night or swinging is not for you |

If you want sex on demand and on your terms, pay for it in one of the many brothels on offer. You need to educate yourself on what the swinging lifestyle is all about...it's not just about dropping your pants and getting it on. Swinging is a VERY social lifestyle and actually people enjoy a more pleasurable sexual encounter when some form of socialising has taken place first.

With no public picture I am not able to dispute whether or not you attended last night.
What I can confirm is my attendance from 7pm to 115am. Unless in my sober state I was hallucinating I am sure there are plenty of swinging going on. Everyone that I played with were new people, not prearranged meets and lots and lots of fun.
The staff and hosts go out of their way to make sure everyone is welcomed, made to feel safe and have fun. |

After an hour in a club i have barely taken my coat off let alone started thinking about playing!! I spend the first few hours socialising then play with anyone that interests me. I never go with the intention of playing, but think of it as a bonus if I do. It takes much more effort than just being there to get involved. Just because u pay, doesn't mean you play! |

Was at Cupids last night..... with a friend..... you certainly didn't talk to us..... maybe we were not what you were looking for... that's fine... and sometimes you won't be what others are looking for....
I know for a fact... saw it... and we were open to others joining us.... that there was PLENTY going on last night in private and in public.....
You are never going to guarantee having fun in a swingers club..... as a single guy you need to build a reputation amongst the couples and single ladies... and yes even amongst the single guys that you are someone who is fun, cool, and respectful.... People talk to each other..... and word gets around.....and invitations to play will probably follow.....
If you get a reputation as some sort of whinger.... who is desperate for any type of 'hook up'.... you will not be a happy guy around the swinging scene...... |

The original OP - to confirm this gentleman was absolutely NOT iN CUPIDS LAST EVENING - non members males where charged £25 not £30 as stated. Clearly this person does not understand the nature of true swing & should perhaps take the time to understand the social nature of swinging, before venturing into the club scene.
Until such time as he is able to demonstrate this understanding he will NOT be accepted into guest listed events within Cupids.

We travel to Cupids from Sheffield. We have been on nights where we didn't know anyone and just got chatting to people.
That's the same anywhere, be it a pub or a club.

Well said I once went and a man in a suite was chatting to the guy and I saying he paid all that money to get on and didn't even get a sniff pardon my pun. It was a gg day so plenty of opportunities I think people just expect to get what they want because they have took the time to go and then had to pay. He said he wouldn't go again with the attitude I don't think he would be welcome anyway. |

Sitting on the sofas because the rooms were full of people swinging having a good time! And the pool table was being used for games of pool. Even the sofas were privy to to some lady on lady action!!. I was there last night... it was very very busy..op you might want to talk to people and socialise first because for me that is a big part of a man showing his respect for me and swinging. Oh dear pardon me for not wanting to meet at the moment! I must not be a swinger - I'm sure alot of people will come running to back you up with that one.
You know fuck all about me. However I know all I need to know about you that you will NEVER get the opportunity to speak to, let alone play with, someone like me.

Went to culids a few years ago as a single bloke and had an amazing time, met two couples who couldn't have been more down to earth. Some you win some you lose but remember their is a social element to swinging as well |

To the OP, I am not sure you know being is actually about. It's primarily to socialise, make new friends, get talking and generally have a good night.
It does not give you automatic carte blanche to expect an 'Instashag'.
I have been to cupids a few times and on each occasion, while I havent't played with anyone, I have enjoyed talking to people, having the odd flirt and stayed in touch with those I met there.
At the end of day, how you decide to spend your evening in clubs is down to you. Just don't have sour grapes when things don't work out. How do you think the "pre-arranged" groups know each other? They meet in clubs, become friends and arrange to meet at a later date.
PS. Don't be giving your wine out to everyone just like...!

Finally a guy who's telling the OP how it is! I've been criticised for going to a club tonight with friends, friends might I add that I've known over 2 years through meeting in clubs and staying in touch after many a great night out together, swinging isn't 'instafuck' more a slow burner with the right people in the right place at the right time |

I at first thought Cupids was cliquey but soon realised it was just regulars who obviously knew each other. When politely talking to couples it wasn't long before being invited to join them. It's a good Club. |

Been to a few clubs in the north west. Cupids twice. Amour about 4 or 5 times and also Infusion. Had one of our best nights at cupids tbh. Think the owner is called Bruce? Very nice fella showed us round we felt really comfortable and had a play with 2 couples. Went again on a party night and it was too busy for us but everyone had a great night and we still had our own fun in one of the rooms. Tbh that's why we like when there's a couples night or limited make members like the one we're going to at townhouse this friday. You come across that because you paid your money you should get to shoot your load... from what I remember there were glory holes in the couples room you could have dangled through... Got to "put it out there" |

If the OP was typing on his techno watch whilst in the club.....what happens regarding confidentiality ? Most clubs do not allow people to have mobiles in clubs....can I just ask about these new fangled watches that I believe do have camera ability  |

Cupids DO NOT allow iwatches or mobiles inside the club. The original OP did not attend the club on the night he suggests. Your absolutely correct our policy would have been broken had he been in the club with such a device and as a result would have been immediately asked to leave & barred.

I've been to cupids loads of times as a single and couple. Unfortunately not for ages due to other commitments. It's a great club with great people. At the end of the day it's a social club with a difference not a brothel! It's nobody's right to be handed sex on a plate and it's everybody's right to speak to and socialise with whoever they like. With that attitude (and if conversation skills are on the same level as literacy skills) you can't expect to taste the delights cupids could have to offer |

all clubs have their regular visitors so you will always find people in groups who know eachother, they are called regulars not clique
first time visitors will always find it a bit strange looking from outside, put your phone in your locker and try some old fashion communication ,talk and be social, it may take a few visits to a club for your face to be noticed but if you don't put the effort in you wont get anywhere |
