No not at all. We much prefer Friday nights, slightly less people but we find it is then easier to start a conversation. But maybe in London they are still very busy compared to other areas.

Had a couple of quieter Friday nights at OurPlace4Fun recently, but not been enough to call it a trend. Maybe cos most clubs let in single guys on Fridays and not Saturdays, couples are getting fed up with us and going more on Saturdays. |

Nope, we are very busy! Some events are more popular than others but it's either busy or very busy!! lol
I think the clubs who are doing better on Fridays are the ones who are moving with demand and changing things up to reflect the needs of the customer. So rather than sticking with a good old swinging night on a Friday, those that change the themes regularly tend to do better.
It's like any business...rest on your laurels and you're fecked. Stay in tune with your customer and you'll be fine. |

"So is this what you're starting to see in your neck of the woods OP?"
Well...kinda. But this is FANTASTIC info guys! Lots of interesting options. Sounds like Fridays could be mystery tour night for me. Pick a random UK club and go on an adventure! |

We are finding some of our Friday nights are not very busy, we have actually closed two friday's a month for this reason. It must be this neck of the woods however, saturday is greatttttttt. And our Newbie Friday's and Voluptuous Women night do really well on a Friday xxx |

Various Venues Across The UK |
Also, it depends what people think is quiet.. And also what the venue capacity is..
If a venue can hold 200 and gets 80 in, it'll look quiet. If a venue holds 100 and gets 80 in it'll look rammed..
How many people are needed for a good time? |

Always busy at Eurekacougarsandcubs on a Friday party (blowing my own trumpet I know ) haha
Above post quite correct tho a bigger club can look empty even with over 100 in
Plus if there is a lot of play people are dispersed

To be honest, even though we are busy on Fridays, some of our best nights when we have been on the fun side of the bar have been when it's been quieter. More time to chat, see who's around a lot easier, longer in rooms, not waiting at the bar. |

Cupids generally have fewer people on a Friday than perhaps on Saturdays. That is to be expected with people a little frazzled from their working week & home commitments.
Those that do venture out on Fridays may well find clubs across the board less busy - but "packed" (packed for Cupids is the Legal limit of 180 people) is not always what suits everyone tastes. Choice is the key. Those that choose Fridays have fun their way.....more opportunity too have social swing than Saturday which are typically full on parties. Example this Saturday for Hanky Pankies birthday bash will be PACKED.

Club F up in the (real) North East is pretty rammed on a Friday night. Used to be fairly quiet but it's really picked up to a point that it can be just as busy as a Saturday. Slightly different crowd mind as Friday is mixed night so it's not for everyone - but it suits us down to the ground. We absolutely love our Friday nights.
Only thing is, we now hear couples going on a Friday and complain there's too many single men - hope they don't change it - couples only nights can be a bit too much of a chat fest for us.
Credit to the staff - they even gave us fridees (yes it is a word) a theme party of our own. |

Was just about to create a new thread on this subject but thought I'd bump this instead BUT with a slightly differently worded question.
Are folks less likely to go swinging on a Friday than on a Saturday?
Maybe the answer is obvious. I know when I used to go out of town it would mainly be on a Saturday as I had no work the next day but surely there can't be that many people who work on Saturdays?
Having said that, I still like to go for a cheeky swing on Friday even if I have work the next day! |

"It's a trend i noticed a while ago, but seems to pick up around pay day, maybe it's because single men's entrance expensive"
Some clubs fleece single guys and only allow them on a Friday ... tbf that's one of the reasons I have spent the last 4 years going to eureka because they don't charge ridiculous amounts and guys are welcome Fridays and Saturdays too |

Fortunately, club prices don't affect me but I am more concerned about the attendance of the general swinging population including couples and single ladies. |

They do. But my point is more that people have more disposable income around pay day (end of month) |

fridays the end of the week , lot of people go to the pub near home so they can drink and walk or taxi home .....
or just drink indoors to chill and unwind ..
in the summer they sit in the pub garden or there own back garden ...... |

4 on, 4 off shift worker so I'm either at OurPlace4Fun on Friday or Kestrels on Monday, depending on where my days off land each week, which works for me but it'd be nice if there were more options for guys on Saturday nights. Maybe if clubs could alternate the couples only nights between Fridays and Saturdays so there was alway somewhere we could go? Have spoken to 1 or 2 guys who hardly ever do clubs cos Friday night they're still recovering from the week and Saturday nobody will let them in. |
