Never been to a club before

Jump to: Newest in thread

I've never been to a club before but have always wanted to try it. I play rugby so I'm use to being naked around others but can't say I'm the most confident about it.

I was wondering what are the best way to get rid of the nerves? Or even better would anyone be willing to show me?

Thanks for your help and advice in advance.

I'm a frequent visitor to clubs in the Midlands and would be happy to show you how it all works.

OP most clubs have excellent staff who will show you around, explain the club rules and make you feel welcome.

Personally I prefer a club when it's busy, so party nights would be my choice. Look on the forums and put your name down. You can always change your mind.

If you to a wet club you can go to enjoy the facilities first and foremost. Anything else then is an enjoyable bonus.

But just be yourself.

OP. Your nearest club is in Stoke. You don't need to get naked...it's not a naturist club. It's like a nightclub downstairs .. ..bar, DJ , dancefloor and lounge area. People socialise like a normal pub. Then upstairs people strip off if you hit it off and get the opportunity to play with someone. But there are private rooms, as well as open areas.

Party nights are busy nights, but sometimes quieter nights give you chance to find your feet.

Look up Atlantis Club and check out the reviews.

But any club will give you a tour when you arrive and the majority are full of friendly fun people.

Me and my partner want to try a club but are unsure how to dress? What do men/women wear to clubs?

Depends which club. Best thing is to check the clubs website and it will let you know.

It can be frightening but mix, chat, be polite and enjoy the social side.

Wiggled only ever plays with the singles who do the above and its led to some great nights.

When you get to the club, walk around and you will see an area where single guys tend to mingle. It's kinda like a herd mentality, they just group up.... run away, don't join the herd, or you will never escape..

Hover by the bar if you are new. Bar staff can I introduce you to people. Smile and chat to people at the bar. It's not scary

need to know basis in Wolverhampton

I posted on a fff event for Xtasia last year asking for someone to tag along with, a lady said I could tag along with her and her mate been mates ever since and been to lots of different clubs and events.

Just do that there's always someone else in the same boat as you tag along with them.

OP like someone else said your nearest club is in Stoke and it's not a dress down club. I've been many, many times and it's always the one I suggest to people who've never been to a club before

I started gabbing with exactly same feelings, my first and only meet was at Atlantis with a super sexy lady on Fab, as others have said it's a perfect club to get started but as welcoming as everyone was it's good to have someone walking through that door with you, either a friend or a potential bed buddy.

Only stopped going due to personal reasons and distance, I also like the fact you stay dressed and get to mingle with the ladies in all their finest dresses and lingerie... some clubs I hear you are straight into a towel, looses a little of the thrill for me

Why is a bigger club better ?

It can be very intimidating for new people. A club where you return and the regulars recognise you, and there are other newbies is very welcoming. At big clubs, you often lose track of people and feel it's a little impersonal.

Each to his own I guess.

There are quiet corners in smaller clubs too if you just want to sit back and observe, but mingling is part of the club experience once you have got over your initial nerves.
