A certain club has just asked members if they wish to come to a photoshoot to promote the club. Apparently only those 'fit' in swimwear should apply.
We're a tad irritated by this, should we be? |

It wouldn't bother me but everyone is different. Are you offended by it? |

Why should you be irritated?
It's called advertising.
They want to promote the club in the best way possible. Would you be clammering to get to a club where the models looked like Daisy and Onslow?
It's the same way a BigMac never looks as good in real life as it does on the poster.
I'd be irritated if they asked you to model then didn't use you. |

They just want to show an unrepresentative image of the range of people that attend. I guess it's no different from shop windows. It's just advertising and they are asking one type to attend- I hope they are confident in their 'fitness' because it would be dreadful to be turned down on the day. I suppose they will have to submit photos in advance .
Don't be offended...it's just marketing. We all know the reality. |
