Tbf the only opinion of a club worth taking notice of is your own. Although you should base it on at least one or two visits as one it could be a one off bad night (we've all had them)."Well I've just bought a ticket so let's hope it's a great party! I've been to a few clubs around the country and like _ushandkitty say, I do prefer to make my own mind up while taking advice from as many sources as possible. I think any club will live and die by the people that attend and the effort they put in to create a good atmosphere. I know there are some cool people in Bristol and hope this club will reflect that!  | |||

"We went last night with two single lady friends of ours and it was awesome. We were so pleasantly surprised. Cherry and the organisers got it just right......except that the dark room was a little too hot and unventilated, but we coped with that. Friendly, well attended, excellent rooms. We had great fun and we will most definitely be back. For those who have slagged the place off without checking it out in person, shame on you. This is what Bristol needs. They've got some great things planned too, and really want people's thoughts on what to improve on, which is always a good sign.
The owners are lovely and some great staff there too, people need to try for themselves before being negative.

I personally had a nice time and made some lovely new friends but I know of at least one person (3 now) who's experience wasn't the same as mine. I did speak to the owner and the organiser who seem like lovely professional people but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that their swinging experience is less than mine (I've been going about a year and a half). Also, the fact that they don't have a Fab presence is a bit worrying as I guess this would be the perfect place for them to engage with their customers. Having said that, I'm sure it will improve as the weeks go on but I have the same concerns as the quoted poster. There was an abundance of lube in the rooms but ZERO condoms. This gave the feeling of "make the pussy as accessible as possible and don't worry about sexual health". By the way, as a relatively experienced swinger I did come with a fully stocked "swinging bag" but I'm going to guess that the newbies may not have been so well organised. Despite all that I will be going again just to see the improvements and to meet my new friends but as I said, as a single guy, I'm sure my feelings are going to be totally different to the rest of the target demographic. | |||

"This forum post is very unfair. It was their first night and the hosts are very open for suggestions to improve. It's never going to be perfect the first night. This couple sound like they didn't have a fun night and trying to spoil this new venture. I had a fantastic evening, and many other couples felt the same - as seen by the majority of positive reviews. On the contrary, the rooms I found were more like bedrooms than sloppy and dirty playrooms you find in other clubs. Much more erotic and comfortable. It was warm on this night, but no warmer than i have felt in other clubs. the hosts have said they will provide fans in future. There is a big room downstairs, and another big one upstairs with swing if you prefer moresomes, maybe this couple didn't find them or were locked when they were looking. There was wipes and towels in the rooms - again maybe some people couldn't find them. And free condoms? Does Angels or The Office or Remix or Xtasia provide free condoms? Stop being so cheap, it is not the responsibility of the swingers club to provide condoms, men should always provide them and be responsible. The dungeon is one of the best I've seen around the country, clamp chair, swing, cross, lots of props. It was noted by staff to make it a bit darker. Also interesting wheel of fortune. As for the vibe, it's a welcoming place the hosts were absolutely lovely but also super professional. There is a pool table as well as large lounge area downstairs. The top floor has a large buffet with rooftop smoking area (yes there is covered section actually) - both areas great for socialising, much more spaced out and relaxed than other clubs. As for the "very pretty girls", they were friends with the owner and came along to support the first night - why is this even an issue when they are not working and only friends. Granted I was unsure about this being massage parlour by day but it never affected the clientele, good balance of couples v single guys and the couple of non-working women in a busy night did not at all affect the mood of the night. In fact joined in with the fun at the end of it (maybe others had gone home by then). A venue that is also a massage parlour means that attention to comfort is paid much more than other clubs that are a side venture. Finally, there were two impolite single men (and more polite men!), and the couple i was with reported it (nothing physical, just verbal jaunts) and they were ejected immediately. Admittedly it was the men's first ever swingers night and owner said obviously she couldn't know their character yet as it's the opening night. They have strong security guard here, something you don't find in other places. On the opening night you can't expect everyone to be perfect. The way they were dealt with was swift and professional. All for constructive criticism and feedback, and everyone has their right to opinion. However I'm confident it will all be taken on board as the night continues. But yes finally Bristol has a decent place that will only grow. Walking distance to and from Temple Meads station by the way. Web designer said they will put it on fab soon, which will encourage more visitors. I was surprised how busy it was without any promo. Reason why not on fab yet is probably they are concerned with negative attention when they are honestly trying to build and improve their reputation. Try it, it's great. Not all naysayers are right. " Spot on, we are returning on Sat as we really enjoyed it had great chats with owners and indeed the big guy doing security is a great asset. Chatted to him quite a bit and were very impressed at how they dealt with any problem customers. Met a lovely lady, cool single guy and several nice couple and it was a great mix of different people. | |||

Starting up a new business is often a tricky balance between what is desirable, what is affordable and what returns a profit. We socially have got a busy few weeks coming up but will visit here asap." I would say Angels approach works best. Couples only on Saturdays plus select cap on single males. Fairest way, gives a balance and doesn't exclude couples that might like a single male but are restricted to Friday nights. The only reason I can see to travel now will be for the "major established parties" around the UK. Even then, I expect this place to get hired by some big names once it gets properly established... | |||

The lighting is good in areas that you want to socialise in, and dimmer in other areas. Which is great as choice is paramount.
New club, so things do need doing. And from what I've seen they are actively trying to implement changes where needed. The staff are staff on the night, and very patient with me, and easy to lipread.

Cheaper on swingers night for guys Probably assuming the females will entertain the guys used to paying for guaranteed shags do no need to pay for entertainment staff. How many regulars will realise the girls won't be there solely for them and they have not paid for services? No point making it couples only as they provide rent-a-girlfriend experiences For us the two uses are chalk and cheese. So not for us in the slightest We need a va or chameleons near here! On the 2 nights we've been there were 6 or 8, presumably as the club gets busier with couples they will let more singles in. As it's a new club it's not mega busy but also being a small club the single guys seem to stand out more & hunt in packs. Like I said hopefully they will have 2 different nights to keep everybody happy. | |||
