Does this hash anyone else off? Get tipsy by all means, but full on 'Belvoir Street, Leicester mode' is totally poor conduct if you ask me.

We got way too d*unk at our first swingers club just 2 weeks ago.. not asshole d*unk just I'll d*unk. Nervous drinking but a mistake we won't make next time |

I;ve been d*unk at socials at clubs but that;s different as not looking to play (other than with people I already know) but other than that even in the days I drank a lot I never really saw swing clubs as the place to get hammered

i think that any good club keeps and eye on the people so they don't get too d*unk, and are prepared to intervene so they don't get anymore d*unk if they have had too much.....
for me it comes down to something very simple...

As a party organiser who takes the safety of our guests very seriously, guests reaction to me asking them to slow down on their alcohol intake, always amazes me
Guests that have had 'one too many' cause so many issues
Not only do they run the risk of causing upset or annoyance to other guests, but they are potentially putting themselves at risk
Ladies who are d*unk are not in a position to give consent to sex and with this in mind it means that staff/security spend more time watching out for their welfare (and that of our male guests too to prevent any allegations of sexual assault/rape)
Lets not forget the additional issue of mood swings that often goes hand in hand with too much alcohol
I am never scared of having a courageous conversation with any guest if their behaviour is in breech of our rules but when alcohol is the issue it often results in me being called a party pooper
However my main concern is guests safety and if that means me challenging behaviour/refusing to serve alcohol then so be it

We visited our first club a while ago, and my wife had a bottle of wine first to calm her nerves. We ended up having a domestic, which wasn't ideal. Next time we go we'll stick to soft drinks. |

I've seen some very d*unk people at a club. As previous posters have said, d*unk is definitely not sexy. I never drink at a club, usually because i'm driving, buy even if i wasn't i would only have one or two. I don't need alcohol to enjoy myself.
If you're that nervous you need plenty of Dutch courage then maybe you should make your first club visit a "non play" one like i did. Go for a look around and to get the feel of the club and to socialise. |

I do get quiye tipsy at the club I visit regularly but as I predominantly go for the social side and don't and sit in the same location week in week out don't think it's a problem I have seen loud and aggreeds I've d*unks at clubs though but they are soon ejected by staff |

The only d*unks I've seen at clubs have been women. Different clubs.
Two were non consensual groping some poor guy and one was berating her other half for spoiling her fun. Then tried to get me to agree with her. Yuck.
Never seen a drink male, maybe they're too worried about poor performance to risk it lol |

We prefer going to clubs in the day cus then there is rarely any people d*unk there. Hate it in the evening at chams when people often seem to be d*unk and are so loud and spoil it ! Never seen anyone d*unk at city celts though although we have never been there after 9pm yet. |

Well I was guilty of it Friday. Dnt do it very often but didn't embarrass myself. However did lose my shoes. Have no idea were they are. Enjoy them whoever took them. |

Good news, I have managed to source an exact replica of my ruined crop, but in blue  which is in-fitting with my profile  She's also managed to sort a few other things for me which I hope to be breaking in at Libs on the 30th  |

If you need to drink heavily to swing then you're not cut out for swinging as far as I'm concerned. I always find it odd how many people cant seem to have an experience without it also involving , , ecstasy and all manner of other drugs.
And I am by no means an anti-drugs type (I think they should all be legalized TBH) but I really do wonder about the people who claim that they're all about the lifestyle and yet cant partake in it without liquor. |

You'd be suprised at how many of these people have been victims of sexual assault or rape and really want to be able to do it without dutch courage but can't. I've spoken to at least 5 people in this situation.

We had an awful experience of this earlier in the year.
We put up a post that we were attending get a club and this couple got in touch. They were really nice and when we arrived and saw them at the club they both looked great and we got on really well with them. That was until they, over the course of a two hour period, managed to consume a litre bottle of vodka, each!!
We have never seen anything like it, and have never seen anyone turn so ugly so quick!!
The woman turned into the biggest tart we'do ever seen, and not in a good way either, and as for the guy.... Mr Tickle springs to mind!!
We spent the next two hours desperately trying to avoid them and eventually left early.
The next morning we were informed they had been thrown out of the club after assaulting another guest and some members of staff.
The moral here is, d*unk and swinging is not good and needless to say we never play with anyone who has consumed too much alcohol.
Oh, and to top it off, they left a shitty review of the club then left fab!!! |

This sounds very familiar and may be same couple that we saw on a party night at a club. Horrible couple but started really nice. Am sure its not a coincidence

Drinking is fine at clubs, and don't have a problem with a few drinks to help relax someone a little, but I do find it annoying when d*unkenness becomes loud and obnoxious behaviour, rudeness or pushiness.
Sadly, we do see these things quite a lot but thankfully only from a very small percentage of couples. |

I drive if I go to a club so soft drinks for me. And even if I didn't I'd still keep a clear head and do without. Nowt worse then a pissed up person stinking of booze all over the shop |

Whenever we've visited clubs I've been the driver so never an issue. Drink and sex is a dangerous cocktail. Far better to go to clubs midweek when they are less rammed with revellers who have basically got snorted.
I do remember back in our early days of swinging most clubs we're not licensed to sell alcohol so you could only consume what you brought. I was driving anyway so never a real problem for us.
Has that changed now with most clubs now having a license ? Can imagine now that if a lot of these clubs now have licenses to sell alcohol that their problems with d*unk people in sexual situations has risen.
Drink, Alcohol, sex, jealousy. Not a good recipe. |

yeah its crap, we now curtail our playing after a certain time,in a certain club, otherwise we have found, because im in sub mode, d*unk people think im sub to the world, don't ask to touch, interrupt and are generally out of order..especially women i have to say.
its not attractive and it ruins our fun.  |

I've known people being asked to leave clubs because they're d*unk. However, I've complained in the past about someone being completely out of their face on drugs and was told because they hadn't seen the person do it there was nothing they could do. Even though they were pacing up and down the club, chewing their fingers etc. It was highly unattractive. |

I've known people being asked to leave clubs because they're d*unk. However, I've complained in the past about someone being completely out of their face on drugs and was told because they hadn't seen the person do it there was nothing they could do. Even though they were pacing up and down the club, chewing their fingers etc. It was highly unattractive."

One of the reasons we are loath to attend a club on NYE this year is the carnage we've seen at clubs caused by revellers especially on NYE! We wish people who want to celebrate seeing in the new year by getting d*unk and partying too hard would just not go to swinger clubs on the night and just go to the pub etc instead, those of us who want to see the new year in with naughty friends being naughty they would be great |

We love a drink, are regular drinkers, dont end up in a mess or create situations and would no longer visit a club if alcohol was banned there.
But then again, we dont always go to clubs for aex, sometimes, its just to socialise over a drink with some friendly faces ..
Perhaps the way you view the club experience makes a difference? |

Our last vist to one of our localish clubs put us off ever going there again, firstly a d*unk woman in a dark room having a threesome, it wasn't immediately clear she was d*unk, one of the males we presumed was her partner told the other male to "put it up her arse" no lube nothing and caused her a huge amount of pain, when she got up she could barely stand through drink. Saw her about 30 minutes later drinking at the bar, talking to the bar staff and getting touched up by another 2 men.
Following later there was a strong aroma of , which we were told was the owner smoking in the kitchen area. Yet the review section sings it's praises |
