Yes it's definitely 8. They do tend to ask people to start...err "finishing up" by around 7.30ish though. I think they like people to have actually left by 8.

Funnily enough I happened to ask about closing times when I was there on Sunday as a friend of mine thought they might start closing earlier now that it's winter. I thought she said 6.30 for Thursdays, but I might have been slightly distracted by the couple leaving at the same time as me

I went for the first time on Sunday, really enjoyed exploring the venue and meeting new people. Of course, having a knowledgeable tour guide to "show me the ropes" made my visit all the more pleasurable

Yes, I'm pretty sure it will be open. As I was leaving there a week or so ago, someone was asking about Christmas and New Year opening hours and I'm pretty sure they said they are only closed Christmas Day.

Weekends are not packed at this time of the year. In fact if you prefer it a bit quieter where certain rooms/facilities are more readily available, I'd say this is a better time of year to go....ignoring temperature!

They changed the entrance to the pool yesterday. So your not having to go outside. And it was warm in pool and hot tubs. Also they open whole house up so we didn't get too cold lmao. Still needed robe though lmao.

Yes it was quite nice not to have to go 'fully outside' yesterday when entering/leaving the pool. Hard to get used to though!

Although I do agree with changing the entrance/exit location for these colder months, be careful when leaving the pool area as there is a very slight step up as you go through the plastic vertical strips (I'm sure they've got a name, but can't think of it). Although for most of the day my attentions were very...err...focused, I saw at least two people trip on that and I nearly did myself on one occasion near the end of the day. It's not an obvious (small) step, especially when it's dark.

Yes, I'd planned to say something to them about it when I left, but when it came to leaving I'd completely forgotten (was last one out at 8pm and rushing not to take the piss in leaving too late).

Finally had my first visit today
