Go with no expectations to play treat it like a social event and chat to people?
Don't know about clubs in Manchester but the attic in Derby is good |

You'll get different things from different clubs and different things on different days. If you go to the club reviews and look at the north west section they'll be a list of clubs and most have website links, I'd suggest checking them all out and seeing which one you like the look of.
I've been to the townhouse and cupids up that way, both really nice clubs and fairly different too. Most people are welcoming of new people, but don't just sit there, find where people socialise and join in, get to know people. Don't do anything you're not comfortable with, sounds daft I know, but as newbies many have felt they had to go and see whatever it was, but if it's not for you then just do whatever you want.
Most clubs offer a tour first, but be sure you get one, so you know the layout and can see the kind of stuff that may be happening in certain areas.
Oh and lastly, no two nights are ever the same. |

Choose your club wisely.
There are opinions which differ to those above. We would suggest heading to Birmingham - Chameleons or Xtasia or Liberty Elite in Leics for an initial visit. If you can find another couple to attend with on your first time, that will help but most clubs are friendly and inclusive

*To be clear - we would differ with the opinion that The Attic is a good club for a first visit....but that's because it's not our cup of tea, not because there's anything inherently wrong with it. |

Thank you for all your replies! It's definitely put me more at ease knowing what to expect and what kind of night to go on.
I'm thinking it would be good to go with someone that has already been before that we get on with, ease the nerves a bit xx |

Liberty Elite was our first and only club we have visited, its friendly and no pressure to play with others. Saturdays is couples night so no pressure from single guys also.
Be happy to meet you there if you decided to visit sometime |

In my experience there's no pressure to play with others at any club. |

This looks a really good club, seems quite different to the others I have looked at. I'll have a word with the mr, it would be nice to have spoken to someone before we go. Xx |

"Had a look at a couple, attic in derby definitely looks fun!! Xx"
It certainly is a lot of fun.
We had our first visit to the attic a couple of months ago and being only the second club we had visited, with the first being a lot smaller, we were a little in awe of the size but after being shown around by Ron, he did everything he could to put us at ease and by the end of the tour we were laughing and joking.
Met some wonderful people and had a fantastic night, so much so we are going back on the 19th for the Masquerade ball and we are thoroughly looking forward to it.
The club has a good mix of areas to socialise or play and at no point did we feel we were put under any pressure to play.
Am sure you will have a great time wherever you chose to go, just remember that you can do as much or as little as you want. |

We only have experience of Libs but have heard that it's no pressure at others as well. |

Can only really speak for Townhouse as it's my regular club, but it's definitely no pressure to play, this should be the same which ever club you decide on.
In my opinion Townhouse is a great place for a first visit, the staff are really welcoming and give a full tour for any newbies.
My advice would be to be sociable and chat to people and to go with no expectations.
As mentioned above only do what you are comfortable with and take it at your own pace.
Check out the websites of different clubs and the reviews on here which should give a good indication of the different events which may be best suited for what you're looking for.
Wherever you decide to go I hope you have an amazing first time. |

We are members of La Chambre in Sheffield. Though we havent been to other clubs (yet) we like that you dont have to dress down at any point (unless you are in a play room obviously). It just feels like a nightclub with some naughty rooms. No pressure at all and very friendly staff and clientle. Jack. |

We went to the Attic a month ago and loved it that much we are going back next Saturday 19th. We've been to a few clubs over the past year and Attic is up there with our favourite. Our opinion, as if every one liked the same club the rest would be empty |

Why do you need a woman to join you ? That's the fun of clubs...there are single ladies and couples there to chat to, and if all are in agreement to play with. Even if you don't get chance to take part. You can watch the action and swap details with people to possibly chat to in future.
It's a sexy social outing which may turn out to be more.
Take a deep breath and go along on your own ! |

"I garentee I'll have a right hard on all time tho like I meen wen just sat in towel "
Well go to a club where you don't wear a towel ! Plenty of clubs you go dressed in smart casual clothes unless you are in the play rooms.

For anyone considering going to a club for the first time, check the websites, read the reviews and contact the club if you have any queries.
Most clubs have friendly staff, lovely customers and there should be no pressure to play.
Sit where other people are....by the bar, in the jacuzzi and chat to people.
Relax and have a good evening, whatever happens

Amour in the centre of Manchester is a great club to pop your club cherry. Open through the day and at night. Very relaxed and very welcoming of new people. |

I think an attractive couple like yourselves will be very welcome at clubs. If I were you I'd choose a classy place like Radletts were the people will be similar to you. Some clubs the clientele are a bit lacking |
