Planning to attend Club F on Saturday with a (platonic) lady friend. LittleL400. This will be both our first times so clearly we are a little cautious. I know she's got herself a nice, sexy outfit but I'm kind of wondering what to wear myself, especially when 11 passes. I was thinking maybe just underwear trunks/running shorts? Thankfully as a runner I've got decent legs so won't feel too self conscious. Do guys wear things on top though - T/polo shirt? I think I might feel a bit exposed with nothing, at least at first anyway.
I know people are going to say dress in what you feel comfortable in but I really don't want to look out of place or a complete newbie.. |

Well I wouldn't want to look like a 'twat'..
The reference to trunks/short was for when things get a bit more relaxed after 11 (I believe although maybe I'm wrong)...

That's helpful thanks. I know pretty much nothing about what goes on there on a practical basis so don't assume any level of knowledge... |

first of all if you are going as two singles... i would ring them to make sure there are single guy spaces... as refusal at the door (even if you are platonic friends) can be embarrassing....
when you do call them, they will go over the rules of dress on a saturday night.. as they have different rules for the different nights.... |

That was a bit of an arsey response to someone who wuite clearly said they had no experience of the club and was looking for advice
OP in fairness ive only been to clubF once ... But when i was there there were people fully dressed in the bar , but also a lady in just a corset and thong and a man singing karaoke in nothing but tight white boxers ... There was also an older couple who i never saw with clothes on at all ... They had nothing but towels wrapped round them from the moment i got there
There are lockers to store things in (but they are not huge) so come dressed as you would for a normal bar , the rules are you must dress down when upstairs ... Then just see how you feel about what you want to wear when you comeback down ... Just go with the flow of what you are comfortable with
The girls giving the tour when you get there are great and so friendly ... They will be able to tell you if there are any rules about what you can and cannot wear in the bar |

Cheers, good point, but we are going as a couple on a (albeit still to be obtained) couple membership. |

We usually go dressed for a normal night out then approximately 9/10pm I (mrs) get changed into something a little sexier and Mr trunks/boxers and a towel or dressing gown (hired from the club). It is a great club full of lots of really friendly people and the staff will go over everything you need to know and always happy to help.
What you wear is what makes you comfortable
Have a great night and just relax and enjoy

Interesting, never seen the dress down only upstairs rule. I mean by the time we move upstairs we are usually in robes anyway but in previous visits it's never been an issue to be clothed in those areas and they didn't mention it to us when L was given her introduction tour last week.
I think OPs question has already been answered so I have nothing more to add to the comments already made, other than to say good luck, and enjoy yourself. F is a very decent club, and has some really friendly characters. I'd recommend the smoking room rather than the bar myself, even if you aren't a smoker (we aren't. Ecigs only which we could use inside) it just has better conversation.
They could turn the bloody hot tub up a few degrees though. Winge at them about it, if enough of us do they might throw some more coal on it :P |
