Do any other men feel inadequate when they're sat only in a towel, stripped bare, and you see the girls dressed to the nines, gorgeous hair and make up. I feel ridiculous just in a stupid towel next to them, and don't have confidence to talk to them. Anyone feels this?

After a year or so attending Kestrels, Rio's and BGHS, I've actually got quite comfortable naked around other people. Maybe try somewhere that's naturist, rather than clothing optional, so you're all in the same boat?

This is the main (general) difference between men and women. Men tend to be stimulated visually and women tend stimulated mentally. Try to turn a woman on by what's in your head rather than what you look like...

Good luck!

Get yourself some nice boxer shorts and wear those instead. They can be a nice ice breaker too if you get some of the funny ones.

There was a thread on here quite a few months ago where a guy asked what ladies preferences were in clubs, towel or boxers? Women voted overwhelmingly for tight fitting boxers.

Definitely go for boxers - Paul gets a lot of attention in his- he gets some purely for clubs so they are comedy boxes etc - and I have to say men look much more attractive in boxers that a towel

Costa Blanca Spain...

In most German clubs men are only allowed to wear towels in the wet area and normal street clothes are not allowed at all.

Dressing down into boxers (or similar) is pretty much compulsory.

On the other side of the coin, most Spanish clubs allow street wear in the whole club.

We know which one we prefer and it isn't in Spain.

I prefer to see a guy in nice boxers than in a towel. Give that a whirl

Try other clubs with different policies if you feel awkward or uncomfortable. Nervousness or look of I don't want to be here does stand out, just bear in mind everyone is self conscious about some part of their physical appearance. Try a theme party night to break the ice

Thanks for the replies. I'm new to the clubs, and love the atmosphere of the one I attend, and have no problem making the people laugh there. My point is the men all look rubbish in just a towel whereas women look drop dead gorgeous. But I suppose women will always look gorgeous wherever they are I'm gonna try some boxers next time I go.

I like to wear a pair of microfibre briefs (from PRIMARK) when I go to Chams. The ladies there can't keep there hands off my arse!

Which is nice...

Personally I prefer the clothing optional policy rather than enforced dress down. I go to clubs to socialise and I'm more comfortable chatting to women when I'm not feeling like a flasher or about to commit indecent exposure!

I actually like that the men have to wear towels. The towel tucked against their taught torsos could oh so easily come undone. Not every guy would fit that description though!

If I go to a dress down club, half the time I don't even bother dressing up. It's far too much effort and I'm a lot more comfortable in a towel than a pair of heels. Plus I use the facilities in a wet club, so a towel makes it easily accessible.

I love to see guys in nice smooth briefs/underwear rather than towels. I think guys should make a bit more effort with how they look when they dress down and think outside the box
