No dates etc for it have been released as yet, and tickets are not on sale.
As far as I know there are plans for 2017 yes. We are excited about going again when it does take place |

"This year's issues with the press have complicated plans for next year but I don't think the organisers are gonna give up easily. Hopefully, I'll see you folks there. "
There have not been any complications for next year, as far as we are aware
It will be happening. We are still in break mode but will be getting the Swingfields groove on soon x |

Bit too close for comfort this year with the press, so unfortunately we will not be taking the chance next year, but wish the organisers all the best and hopes everyone attending has a great time with no press involvement. |

"I want to try it but I'll wait until the media lose interest
Hopefully that's happened. It's not like there's any more they can say on the subject. "
If you really believe that then you don't know the press very well. I suggest 20ft walls all around the place with barcoded entry with full strip searches. Failing that hold it in Germany where they won't raise an eyelid at it! |

"ROADSHOW EVENTS - we want to plan our infamous "ROADSHOWS" early so we can announce dates soon, what events would YOU like to see and where .....? "
Another Radlett roadshow, one at the va would be great too... |

"Can you put terms and conditions on the tickets that assign copyright of pictures taken at the event to the organisers like they do at motor racing events. "
The problem with this is (a) enforcing it as they'd have to sue the papers, and the papers will ensure it drags out for as long as possible and (b) the damage will be done regardless. |

Hence why we would never attend anywhere were the press can have free access and already have an interest. |

"Looking forward to next year event I will be there for sure xxx
Don't forget to smile. You want to look good for the cameras lol"
Some of the pictures were taken from outside the boundaries with a telephoto lens, the ones which were taken inside the site were done using a pinhole camera. I know this because we were standing and talking to the journalist as some of the pics were being taken and can 100% guarantee we saw no phones or cameras.
The journalists signed the same disclaimer as the rest of us saying they were not members of the press and would not take photos.
Unfortunately, regardless of the measures the organisers put in places, some unscrupulous people got through through no fault of the organisers and staff on site.
We are looking forward to next year and fingers crossed it will be bigger and better than ever |

And we sincerely hope you have a wonderful time. But you cant get away from the fact that this event attracts the press not only this year but in previous years. And it's only fair that people are made aware of that fact. If anyone chooses to go then thats there choice but it should be an informed choice. New people join this site everyday and they may not beware of the history surrounding this event. |

The press will always have a interest in anything to do with swinging it's not the organisers fault and they do everything they can to try and prevent the press getting into or any information about any events but they will find a way if they want to as they proved this year but the press won't stop me or lots of others from attenting these events xx |

And that's your choice and I'd be the first to defend your right to do so. I would however disagree that the press are overly interested in the swing scene but they are interested in certain things in it and swingfields is most certainly one of them. I'm not saying it's the fault of the organisers as I'm sure they do all they can but it clearly doesn't stop the photographers doing there thing and people ending up in the national press. There are events held week in week out across the country and you dont really see them turning up in the papers. There is a reason why swingfields gets the, excuse the pun, full frontal attack and that's pretty obvious really. |

Omg do you think the orangisors met the reporter once in a kinky mff and didn't leave her feedback !!

Or maybe it's because 600 swingers turn up next door to a quiet little village one weekend a year and 99.9% of other events are at already established secure venues.
After all a swinging event at a swingers club is hardly shocking news. But next door to a village is something else entirely.
Clearly there is something drawing the press to the event because they have gained access for the last two years in a row... |

Tbf in 2015 it was only brought to the attention of the press when a local resident (3 fields away) told them after her complaints to the council, police and environmental health were dismissed by the people she complained to. And photos that were taken on the last day as ppl were packing up were passed on to the press by someone who we are pretty sure was already on site but not a journalist. |

I worry there is an element of "complacancy" by thinking its JUST the festival attracting media interest !! The week after SF a club was in the press, the week before there was coverage of swingers at glastonbury , 2 months ago it was a house party outside london and i see today in a forum thread there is suspicion of journalistic interest , SO by all means carry on singling out SF , but we should ALL be vigilant because the BASIC FACT here is that sex sells newspapers so ANYWHERE is potentially vulnerable, lets all turn the fire on to those who seek to undermine what we do and the bigots and those who dont bother to understand the lifestyle xxxx |

Whilst I take your point I'm sure you would acknowledge that your event has attracted more attention than any other event and by quite a long margin. You only have to spend 5 mins on Google to figure that out. The argument could be made that it's your event that is feeding the situation. Just for the record the party outside London wasn't a swingers event at all. |

If you want to know the in depth details of how the festival works and what contingencies are put in place for everyone's security and safety, then contact the organisers directly! It seems like the answer for you is that if SF closes, then the swinging community will be protected. How naive! Each to their own of course. |

I will add thats it's very naive to think that hundreds of people can turn up to an open air sex festival next to a country village and not expect the press to show up and take pictures and fly drones and then sell those pictures all over the net. And yes I do believe that swingfields doesn't benefit the scene in anyway at all. I am a realist not and idealist and as much as I wish am event like this could take place and that it would pass off without anyone raising an eyelid I know that isn't going to happen anytime soon. That's just fact and the past two years proves it. |

Yes and you dont need to attend an event in order to have a view about press coverage. I've not said one word about what goes on at the event as I've never been. |

Can't wait for SF17....great fun past 3 years...organisers do their best to keep press out. But the sneaky buggers will always find a way in. You don't know how much fun it is unless you have been yourself...We love it!!! Definitely on our calendar in 2017 xxx |

We have been for the last three years. Of the last two years, the first year our vehicle was pictured and last year our group was pictured and all over the press. Very very fortunately not our faces. We've come very close more than once we can't afford to be outed by the press and stake the survival of our business on it (you'll just have to take my word that it would because we've already seen it happen to a friend).
We enjoyed swingfields when we were there and have won free tickets for next year, but in our opinion, based on the experience of the last two years anyone going should expect to be photographed and in the press, it doesn't matter who is holding the camera only the end result. For that reason we won't be using our free tickets.
Anyone that is prepared to take that risk good luck to them but don't cry afterwards. I'm am not putting the event down by any means I am simply stating our experience and decisions made. Other events may have been reported on but did they have press present or full face photographs published in the centre pages of the Sun?
Oh and no we're not prepared to stake our business or children's well being and make a stand. |

We're in the same boat. We've been to Swingfields previously but were (luckily) otherwise engaged this year.
There's no way we'd risk ruining our careers for the sake of a weekender, no matter how good it is. |

Great fun. I've been last two times and had a blast.
Those people saying it was the organisers fault for having it next to a village are mixing up their years. SF16 was held in the middle of nowhere. I got lost twice finding the blimmin place, and I wasn't the only one. So blaming the organisers for something they actively tried to avoid, and something that affected them painfully too, is disingenuous to put it mildly.
I'm not one for placard waving but I'm not going to stop going just because some Fab members disapprove of the way others choose to be entertained. |

And yes I do believe that swingfields doesn't benefit the scene in anyway at all. I am a realist
No your not a realist, you are a opinionist! Out scene had MANY different angles and depths.
You haven't had a sample of the glory of swingfields so you your comments should be taken out of here and put in the
'Please listen to my opinions on ruling the England football team' (nobody will care because you haven't done that)
Have you ever heard the expression
Walk a mile in my boots...
This is very fitting!
I have also heard
"I wouldn't risk my career and my buisness for a great weekend"
Very nice.... but nobody had asked you to risk anything for anyone!
Can we keep to the subject of swingfields attendees and who will be
Attending g for a damn good time I. 2017
MEEEEEEEE???????????? |

We will be attending for the first time, having won free tickets and we are really looking forward to the event. Yes the press seem to have a hard on for swinging at the moment as the scene crosses more into mainstream culture, this is not down to SF this is more down to a number of factors such as mainstream DJ's spinning the decks, traditional
Nightclubs running swinging nights, event organisers using mainstream advertising techniques, non swingers coming into the scene to make money etc etc, its very reminiscent of the Rave scene back in the day when it started out everyone just met up and had a good time, money wasn't a factor, then people realised lots of money could be made and moved in, this is when the press got a hold of it. Eventually killing the scene c |

There is a reason why no clubs exist over there, the same reasons make it a non starter sadly xxx |
