Clubbing or not - Newbee

We are Indian couple, would like to get started in the world of swinging. However, few things pull us back may be experienced swingers can help us out.

We met two couples in last one year. It was a good experience, but we feel this is not the right way to chat and meet the unknown couple and leave it on luck if they suits our criteria.

We have never been to the club , Is it right to start with clubbing and meet people there ? I wonder if that would be too much for us to handle at the start ?

Do we need some experience swinger to gradually take us through the journey towards this new life style.

One thing is sure that we want it, but not sure how to start. We thought initially to have a good chat with couples before actual meeting in person, but it fired back. There are lots of stupid people around.

I wonder most of the couples may have passed through this stage. Maybe this forum can help us.

Many Thank in advance

My partner and I had our first experience in swinging by going to a club. We didn't do anything that night but we enjoyed so much we planned to carry on. Next time we go were going to pluck up the courage to speak to some couples while we're there and see what happens

We started by clubbing and that is where we prefer to play....there's never any pressure and its a great way to relax.

we were very nervous and unsure at first so we went along to a club on a mid week evening and chatted to the staff, got a lovely tour and explanation of etiquette and what to expect. That put us at ease and we returned for a 2nd visit, we played on the 2nd visit and enjoyed it alot. Now we are regulars at several clubs, always prefer club meets over house/hotel ones ...the facilities and atmosphere are great. We have met lots of genuine, sociable swingers since we first started. If you are at a club and there is something you don't know or you don't like just ask the staff ....we have found people who work at clubs are usually happy to help their customers have an enjoyable visit.

You don't have to worry about clubs being too much to handle, as they are far more laid back than you think. You will be given a warm welcome by the hosts if you explain it's your first time and they will normally give you a tour. No ALWAYS means no, so while you might be approached by people, you can always keep it at a friendly chat if you so wish. It's never more than you can handle as you only play with or talk to whoever you are comfortable with.

Hope that makes sense. Remember it's ok to be nervous too!
