"Nothing special about any of the rooms..
Thanks for that. Just worried about the lack of people talking about the place."
It's in a bit of a pickle there, complaints are getting raised and they are getting ignored |

"Is it my imagination or did the other thread about DDs get deleted?
Search for donkey on here and you'll find more."
Not good enough. I want the thread that was posted earlier as I want to reply to it! |

"Looking to go tomorrow for the vicars and tarts party. Has anyone been before? Any special room that I really must try out? "
So my take on Donkey Dicks party. I went on 10/09/16.
Before I went I did a bit of digging around because that's the kind of guy I am! The thing is, I heard that people who give bad reviews of DDs are forever shunned from the community, never to darken his door again! So I wasn't surprised to see mostly good reviews on the club page but I was a bit concerned about the lack of forum chatter. Well I'm not afraid to do my own research so I though that I'd keep an open mind and give it a go anyway.
Well I've been to a few clubs during the year or so that I've been swinging and DDs is no better or worse than the rest. It is a converted terraced house but the owner has obviously spent a lot of time and money on doing up the place. It does have a professional feel to it even down to the staff having easily identifiable uniform so you can instantly see who to go to if you need any help. In fact the staff AND customers were very friendly and I spoke to everyone there and didn't feel like a complete newcomer. Also the place is spotlessly clean!
Short answer: I would DEFINITELY go again!
The only problem I have is this "shroud of secrecy". He's been going since 2007 so he's well established. I would just have faith in the regulars coming back because like I said the venue itself is ok. I nearly didn't go because of the lack of forum chatter but I'm glad I did.
As a contrast, I go to the BBW parties at Chams and a few weeks before there's ALWAYS people posting because they're excited and can't wait to go. Word of mouth advertising doesn't get better than that! |

I was an avid supporter of this club and have had some great nights there with terrific friends but being slated for putting an honest review of the last time i went there has put me off totally .

Is that the 28th of August review? I heard that night was busy (80+ people?) so I guess you could look at it two ways:
1) Everyone was packed in so that more money was taken or
2) The place is so popular that folks are gagging to join the party!
In contrast, the night I went was VERY quiet (less than 20 I think?) even still, my mate managed to play within half an hour and also while everyone was commenting on the lack of action! I'm going to guess that on an average night the numbers are somewhere in between.
I already suggested that as DDs is well established that the owner should let word of mouth do it's job and have faith in his business to speak for itself. Having said that, no place is perfect and you can only improve when you know where you are going wrong and can do something to change it. |

The only issue with 80+ people in a terrace house is what happens in the event of a fire? It's all well and good having loads of people attend but safety is paramount, the fire brigade would have a field day in that place in a packed night.
A club/party is what people make of it. As stated by many people regarding all sorts of messages on here some will like it some won't. But harrowing people for leaving avoid or bad reviews isn't helping the cause.
My advice OP is weigh up what others are saying and decide whether to go or not. You may love it |

Ive always loved it and the staff got a lot of friends there as well but not being able to freely state my opinion that night has got to me.
I gave over two years of positive reviews and the only reason they are not there is i deleted my last profile.
Other views have come in like bare back issues etc no one can force that on you and you are responsible for your own sexual health i for one go regular for check ups and i mainly play with close friends x |

I've already been!
Apparently the capacity is somewhere over 100. The place has had a lot of professional work put into it including an extension so I wouldn't really class it as a "house" now. It does have signage and fire extinguishers etc. |

It's worth noting that a couples/female perception of any club is going to be different that that of a single guy. No offence but it's a totally different mentality. |

It's not professional. He did it himself. It is still a house it just has an extension put on the back. The houses down that road are just normal sized mid terraced houses. His is no bigger than the rest. |

I dont think so either. Men and women in couples are not some different species, we function the same as individuals as we do a couple. We each have single accounts. The idea that single men are different from couples up men stems from men in couples methinks ... |

When I look at clubs I always ask myself "Would I bring my partner here?". I don't always go to clubs on my own. |

"Looking to go tomorrow for the vicars and tarts party. Has anyone been before? Any special room that I really must try out? "
Avoid all rooms, avoid entering.
You've entered and liked it, some do, some don't. I don't.
It's now a way for me to filter who I will meet and not meet.
Keep safe xx |

I haven't been, and I know people will always say you can't judge if you haven't been.
But 3 people I have met have told me to stay away one of them a very trusted friend.
I wish there was an actual club in or around Salisbury. |

It is a filter we use too! Though we did go once but hasten to add stayed fully clothed at all times and didn't stay long. Disappointed the only couple we liked there arrived after us and left before us and also remained fully clothed, and we didn't get chance to run away with them together lol
If people like the place they probably are too different to us.
But everyone is different! |

I'd suggest people read about a fire that happened in america known as The Station nightclub fire, having seen the video in a fire safety course it shows how people panic in a fire and how quickly that fire can spread. This was partially caused because of inadequate fire escapes which a terrace house wouldn't have. It's silly to assume that 80+ people would deal with a fire |
