Oh my god. It just shows how old we are if no one else has any fond thoughts about this club. Maybe. most swingers stay in the seen for only one or two years ? That's another question!!!!

the club was where we first started to go and play and lin to have her first time with other guys.
i use to go there as single before lin played and became good friend to a couple she was a slim blonde who always played but later in evening or should i say early morning.many a taxi driver had a good time in back of there cab usually at worsley |

Our first time at a club was Xanadu around 1997. Found their ad in the classifieds section of the Manchester Evening News. Went down one Thursday around 10pm and tried it out. Access via the quieter back door in the alley rather than the one on the main road. We remember a lady called Karen on reception who was very friendly and helpful.
Very nervous, no idea what to expect. Ended up in a 10-12 person orgy on the big bed they had, so at least we started gently 
We tried it another couple of times midweek then a Saturday before we tried out Boardrooms in Salford (anyone remeber that place) and then Cupids. |

Certainly by today's standards it left a lot to be desired. Far better than Boardrooms though which really was lacking in any social graces.
At least today's NW & Midlands club scene offers some pretty plush surroundings in general. |

Totally agree and most are cheaper now then when Xanadu was around! It must be had running a good club. Well done The good ones in the NW. Keep up the good work. Anyway any other memories of Xanadu  |

Travelled up from Birmingham a few times as there was nothing in the Midlands in those days.
Always got the impression that it was a club that they never quite finished building / converting. Then when they got into bed with the Sport Newspaper, that was the end of it for me.
After that it was Connections up the Ashton Road for me. |
