Both.
Clubs want to attract single ladies (the most desirable group) so need good quality single guys as most single girls want to meet them. But single guys are the easiest group to attract so can be charged more so as to subsidise the single women to make it affordable for them to make frequent visits. |

I've only attended one club, twice.
Was made to feel very welcome by the management, never felt like I was there as a cash cow.
A few days after my first visit I felt like I'd made a mistake with my entrance fee and offered to pay what I felt was the balance.
They declined my offer.

Always had fun at clubs. However I've always felt like women look at me like they're doing me a favour when I'm there. Like I should be grateful or some shit.
I go mostly for the social side of things these days. |

It's rather simple
Supply and demand
Some see it as unfair or gender based
It is really simple business
How much will we pay for a product we desire .....
If fellows were a certain lipstick, shoe brand, dress, handbag, gym, holiday, jewellery, etc ... As in a product - what would we pay.... Their hair product is often cheaper, their skin care regime cheaper, their shoes cheaper ... Yet they preform the same function!
Generally Club Time and Venue is the product and what it contains is attractive and fluctuates ..... Men desire the contents of the product - membership and fees paid...
Those contents are everywhere gym, supermarket, work, bars etc ...however in a club those contents are more likely to be engaging...

I've been to clubs in the past with a play mate but it was part of spicing up our dynamic and fore filling a fantasy of hers .
for that reason I have no interest in clubs on my own because I'm not comfortable with the fact I'm a interloper in someone else's dynamic easily replaceable by the next guy that comes along .
plus its kind of sad when you watch guys following couple around like lost puppies hoping for the scrapes from their masters table.
but hay if you can except the truth about your role in clubs as a single guy and your comfortable with it then by all means go for it but if your not then just stay away and leave it to those who are .

I've visited three clubs, been a member of two, I was made to feel welcome by the staff in all , most of the folk I chatted to were friendly and fun...I did get the sense from some that the only reason you're here is for the cash you're spending, like all clubs my membership fees and charges to attend were more than any other genders... |

I have attended many clubs with different entrance prices and membership fees and my opinions are this.......
Yes we are cash cows but for good reasons, guys are the gender that keeps the clubs running and they know that, they also keep the prices up just to keep the d*unk idiots away from the clubs and think that it's an easy lay
I do think some prices are ridiculous where some clubs it's over £50 or £100 for a year member ship and £60 entry.....
I don't get why certain clubs offer free nights to couples and single females and still have to get on a Guestlist for guys and also charge them
I highly recommend Townhouse as I think that club sees single guys perspectives |

And also it ensures serious players.
When you have cheap prices then you can get idiots stumbling in off the street- We've had nights at a club near us ruined on a few occasions, and we've not been back since (things can happen once, oh well, repeatedly? No thanks any more).
It doesn't always stop the idiots & the disrespectful, but there are rents to pay - Imagine the running costs of a club are a couple of grand a month easy.

We stopped guys walking in off the street 5 years ago and now we hardly get any hassle. In fact most of our trouble nowadays (which isn't much) is couples and single ladies!! One couple tried to do a runner on their bar bill in our club on Saturday my sneaking out the fire escape!! Well to do people, not kids either! haha.. |

Yeah - We didn't appreciate the leering as we were playing with a TS friend of ours... They kinda freaked out with the freak we were getting on

As to your bar bill people? Wow.

Well I certainly wouldn't pay £100/year + £25 per visit just to sit at the bar drinking orange juice and getting ignored all night. I can do that at home for free!  |

1) if I knew any club that charged 100 pound a year for membership I would agree with you... but I don't know of any that does
2) if I was only spending 25 pounds on a Saturday night going to a club... as opposed to a Saturday night out in a city centre... I would consider that a cheap night |

I think it depends on the club ... Personally always preferred clubs where single guys are allowed as that was my meet preference but have been to clubs where they have been a nuisance
If a club is well managed there is nothing better than a good mix of single fems/guys and couples where everyone can have fun and feel safe
I do agree that it's outrageous when single guys are charged extortionate amounts compared to couples and ladies ... some clubs that I went to in the past charging £90 for guys
They pay that amount and expect play (tbh can't blame them !!) lmfao
