Down in the area from the 14th looking to hit kestrels for the first time. Only thing holding me back is I don't want to be that stereotypical single male at a club on the hunt. I want to catch a day with some sunshine and just chill out with some company. What should i expect from a first visit? Thinking Thursday 18th?!

Day times there are quite chilled out. Things to take - flip flops, lunch ( they have a microwave/combigrill ), many be something to read. It'll be fairly quiet but if the suns out its a nice way to spend the day. If any play happens that's a bonus.
Go along and if the opportunity arises then chat to some people, everyone there's friendly and most don't mind chatting and who knows it may lead somewhere. |

Guys fall into 3 broad categories:
The zombie wanker squad who follow couples like little ducklings and shake their locker key frantically
The guys who act respectfully but never pluck up the courage to say hi or talk to anyone which is a shame as they're probably lovely
The guys who are chatty say hi, engage you in conversation without expectation
Try to be in the 3rd category. That and your hot bod will get you far
