I am size 8-10 now. Still love Curvy Club. Your hypothetical woman should know that curvy and fat are two different things. Besides, I have seen very slim women there. People get invited because they are nice people, not for their size or shape (and "curvy" is a shape, not a size). |

It is popular because society makes the bigger women feel uncomfortable, or different or not sexy. Rightly or wrongly plus sized woman are made to feel less attractive and less sexy than a slimmer woman and made to feel a loser in an imaginary competition.
I go to interracial parties because I know the people who attend them have no prejudice against colour. If I fail to get on it is down to my personality. Curvy Club and other similar events are saying society sees you as a plus sized woman, we see you as more than that.
These clubs are sometimes a curvier woman's entry into swinging and find out that there shape is irrelevant and it is personality that counts.
But hey it is easier to throw stones than engage with other people's reality. |

I've never heard of the club until now. I tend to rely on BBW nights at Chameleons. I love these and attend them with relish. Does anyone have any more information about the club. I would be most grateful. |

We all know Fab is segregated down a number of lines. Curvy Club allows women of all shapes. I have seen slim women cone along with their curvier mates. As Real Curves pointed out curvy comes in all shapes. |

As l said earlier some people go for Bbws for the wrong reasons. But to be honest at any swinging night there are people with the same shitty attitude. It is shame you appear to find that deplorable attitude that women who attend clubs are desperate for sex is acceptable for curvier woman but that attitude is not acceptable in in regard to women who attend regular clubs.

As l said earlier some people go for Bbws for the wrong reasons. But to be honest at any swinging night there are people with the same shitty attitude. It is shame you appear to find that deplorable attitude that women who attend clubs are desperate for sex is acceptable for curvier woman but that attitude is not acceptable in in regard to women who attend regular clubs.

Where did I say I found that point of view acceptable? I simply didn't want my wife to be victim of someone who assumed large ladies are an easy lay and were attending such an event purely for that reason. I've seen this attitude in standard clubs to. Guys who won't stop and chat at the beginning of a night suddenly following us around like lost puppies at the end when they have failed to pull any "hotties" seemingly surprised when ignored.  |

Why would your wife be a victim? There is no obligation to play and if she wants to there is normally a choice of respectful men. Personally l prefer curvy women for their shape and many men at these events feel the same. The fact that someone is there just for sex is not rocket science.
Why not attend with your wife and see the vibe?

Are you not getting it? All women have curves. Actually very overweight ones often don't. No such guys go to Curvy Club - I for one have never come across one. There seems to be something in your mind that you are trying to extrapolate on real life but real life is very different. |

We have been and I can only add our endorsement. Waiting to go again but the date always clashes with other things, this time late shift and moving house weekend. It is not a club as such but the venue is used for a number of different events and this is one of them. I have never seen any desperate women or men there. Everyone is polite and pleasant and no one is up themselves. Normal people, no-one trying to outdo anyone or look down on anyone. We go to lots of different events and haven't found this in any way. We avoid events that see their market as the beautiful people because our outlook on life generally is that we aren't there to massage anyone's ego. Plenty of attractive people go to clubs seeking some strange form of validation from others ... and those are the places we avoid. Personally I think it is that type of person who is more desperate .... |

Way too many single guys. 30 odd And only 6 or 7 couples turned up.
Very boring evening. Dee was very nice along with the other guys running it. Real shame I was really looking forward to it. Meet a few nice guys so plenty of men chat football etc. Lol
