Hi was just looking for some advice as we are thinking or visiting a club close to home but are worried about someone we know been there. We are discreet and no ones know we do things like this and would like it to stay that way.

Any suggestions?

Chances of meeting someone you know are pretty slim and on the off chance you do happen to bump into someone you know, well, they are there for the same reason.

I doubt they'll go shouting that from the rooftops.

If you're worried you'll spend the evening looking over your shoulder then go further afield.

Likelihood is if you bump into anyone you know they will also not want it broadcasting to the world so don't let it put you off

We used to live in Sheffield and attended LC quite a lot and never bumped into anyone we knew

If your worried about LC there is also Quest in Leeds about 45 minutes away from you, great club new and modern but LC on couples night especially theme nights are excellent nights

Yeah we thought about them been in same position, I think we are worried if there are open about swinging. The reason we were thinking of going local was the female gloryhole at Sheffield which has us very interested.

I've met a few people I know but I've been swinging for years been to a lot of socials clubs etc I've never been 'outed' though I am open about my swinging so "outing" me would get them very far if they tried

And the female glory hope is loads of fun so exciting not knowing who is going to play with you or what their going to do take being blindfolded to a new level, there's I've a doorway so your other half can watch you enjoying yourself while they can still supervise safe play too

I'm confused by their dress code. The website says dress to impress, but then says people go round in towels. Can you just arrive and get straight into a towel? If so, is there really a need to dress up if you are only going to undress as soon as you walk in the door?

Very rare you bump into anyone local you know at la chambre although it has happened once ,most are in the same situation and value discretion as we do , so don't worry too much and it saves travelling miles xx

We went last month for our first time and had the same worry, we did bump into someone I knew and it did have a big affect on us as we really want to keep this private. (It shouldn't have mattered because we are all there for a reason) I have thought about it since and we really shouldn't have let it bother us at all. On the night though once I noticed him it was hard to relax and we left not long after, so if you feel it would be the same for you then Leeds is only up the rd. Although I would like to add that everybody in that night seemed totally relaxed and the place is good. Unfortunately nobody was using the female glory hole at the time we was there.

Just to clarify

LC's isn't a dress down club - couples can stay fully dressed if they wish to do so - single guys are required to dress down into boxers or a towel if they are in the "play" areas. If couples want to dress down on arrival they can - it's what you are comfortable with.

Hope this helps.

Still don't get why you can't arrive in normal clothes (not "dressed to impress") and change straight into a towel. Seems illogical to me when both dress codes are allowed.

La Chambre is a night club for swingers, so you spend the first part of the evening in the nightclub so you are having an evening out, why would you wear your normal clothes on an evening out ???? And what do you call normal clothes ??? The dress to impress is a suggestion you wear what ever you want, you can even walk around naked if you want lol,

We have come across this concern so many times from people who are afraid of bumping into someone they know so they won't go to there local club they go out of town. So you actually stand more chance bumping into someone you know by going to a club further away. We have seen more people we know in other clubs more than we have at our local. And like others have said these people want to be discrete too so they are not going to shout it from the roof tops xxx

The website doesn't say it's a suggestion. It is very specific. Normal clothes on a warm summers evening = jeans/shorts and t-shirt.
