NW clubs with no dress down

We are looking for a club in the north west area with no "dress down" policy to go to in the near future.

I much prefer seeing men dressed nicely in shirt and pants rather than in shorts or a towel and don't want to feel pressured in to getting in to something revealing before I'm ready to .

Any help is appreciated

Townhouse on the Wirral.

You can stay dressed all evening downstairs if you wish to. It's only if you go up to the playrooms after 11pm that you have to dress down, Or of course if you want to get into the hot tub/sauna If you feel comfortable and do wish to dress down you can at any point during your visit.

Townhouse has a no dress down in the social areas but in the playrooms after 11pm, No 3 has a dress down at 10:30 and think Amour is a similar time? Partners is dress down in play areas but not in the bar and Cupids is straight to dress down, other clubs I can't comment on as I've not been! Hope this helps xx

Xtasia in the Midlands has a Premier Inn literally next door and if you plan ahead, you can get rooms for £35 / night.

Xtasia is exactly what you are looking for and by planning ahead you can choose your night and get exactly what you want for not a lot of money.

We have been going to Clubs for ten years and used to go once a week or every couple of weeks in the NW but now prefer to travel and make a weekend of it every 6 weeks or so in a Club that attracts sexy people who dress for the occasion. That said, don't get us wrong we also like dress down Clubs but for parties, events and just overall fun... You can't beat places like Xtasia (other Clubs are of course available )

Great question OP. As someone who has yet to visit a club, I too am a bit nervous about having to undress before I am ready to.

Glad I'm not the only one! Just don't want to be looking at clock and thinking it's gong to be dress down time soon. I want to have the choice to be able to when I'm ready!

Oh I didn't say you can stay dressed up in bar area all night if you wanted in va, which on my first visit I thought I would just do that but I was to tempted and had great fun I'd suggest meeting someone at bar for drinks to help nerves and if you get on it helps relax you then the rest is up to you x

Quest in Leeds - stay dressed all evening in bar area if you wish, on a Friday/Sat evening the bar area resembles a smart nightclub .

As previously said The No3 Club does have a dress down time but on Sunday's 4-10pm you can stay dressed in the bar /lounge all afternoon /evening

Wherever you go . Enjoy

Thanks for your help so far everyone.

There's just so much choice around our area picking the right one is hard work!

We have been to townhouse a while ago and had a great night (Leenw you were there and met us) and are going to xtasia later on in the year.

We were just looking for something a bit more local that we could go regularly to.

Stoke area

Atlantis in Stoke area has none of this undress shenanigans. If you go on Saturday August 13th it's a pyjama party ( theme is optional) but you can stay at the club overnight for free.

Great for any people travelling a distance. Bring ID for each person. Read website for more info about the club. Reviews say how friendly it is.

Rare visits, yeah right lol .

One of the things I love about Townhouse is that I don't have to dress down unless I want to, but on other nights I'll dress down as soon as I enter the building.

Decadance, Rochdale.

Less than an hours drive from you, spotlessly clean, no dress down in bar / public area, just if you want to go upstairs into a room.

Dress down policy does seem to be a very North/South divide thing. Clubs in the South you dress up and (generally) only undress when in a playroom. Whereas most of the clubs in the North you are expected to dress down pretty much on arrival or stay within certain areas. I would have thought some of the clubs could mix things up a bit now and again. If Cupids or Partners had one night a month when it is a 'dress up' night with no rules or pressure to undress they might attract a new crowd.

I like the dress down policy that Townhouse have, which is dress down upstairs in the playrooms after 11. I didn't really get it until I went to Atlantis, where they don't have a dress down rule at all. Mid play, completely naked, there are people walking round fully clothed. It felt seedy and I didn't like it at all. It's really put me off going to clubs without dress down.

I know some clubs have an immediate dress down rule too. I'm not sure that's for me either tbh. But the dress down in the play areas thing helps to keep everyone on a level playing field in my opinion.

Cupids have a "stayed dressed" evening every Tuesday. Few of our guests & members seem to take advantage of this. All about choices - have fun wherever you go

See we prefer it the other way around. It's too much like hard work hard work having to get undressed and dressed again when you want to get down to the fun..

Couldn't agree more. Nothing worse than being naked playing with fully clothed people watching. Makes me really uncomfortable

Totally agree, part of the lure of sex clubs and swinging clubs is the freedom to be ourselves, that includes for us at least, being naked or dressing sexy. When there are people walking around in their normal clothes, it just dampens the mood for us..

Guess we are true Northern swingers though

Atlantis simply allows those attending to choose when to dress down. Newbies can be wary of being undressed in front of a group of people whereas more experienced people would be comfortable with it.

Simply a matter of personal preference.

I've been to partners on my own in a couple and with friends

I can stay in the lounge area chatting for ages fully clothed. .. then the mood takes for a wander so I'll go into a baby doll still covered enough to be comfortable. ... eventually though the jacuzzi wins out lol and then it's a nice big towel!

Most clubs would look down on men walking round in their shirt and pants. At least put some trousers on as well ffs!
