The reason is it’s a Gay Men’s sauna no women allowed, check out the website I’ve been quite a few times and never seen women in the venue.

"When they re-open, is it a full re-opening? I know they operated for a while without the wetroom being open That room is the biggest draw for me Read the thread" Firstly, your comment is unhelpful Secondly, I read the thread and couldn't see an answer to my question So, I'll ask again, in a slightly different way... When the sauna re-opens, is it a full re-opening or will some facilities, such as the wet room, still be closed?

"When they re-open, is it a full re-opening? I know they operated for a while without the wetroom being open That room is the biggest draw for me" ********************************* Hiyyaa..... For anyone interested...... When the new owners (Jamie & Mike) took over Northwich sauna around three years ago, they immediately began a major refurbishment of the venue. Almost no area was neglected during this time and this work included invisible but necessary upgrades to the fabric of that magnificent building, especially the wiring circuits which were inspected and fully replaced as and where necessary, by professional electricians. Another area invested in was the car park at the front of the sauna, which is now better laid out for easier parking with space for more vehicles. As all this work was being carried out, various areas were closed for a short time, the steam room for example, which was totally restored. All the work was well planned in advance to cause the least disruption to visitors. The guys carried out this work promptly, using qualified tradesmen where they were required and, to their great credit, it all was done with very little disturbance to the sauna's day to day running. Last March, the 20th to be exact, when they closed during the first "lockdown", as far as I know all the largest upgrades had been completed and, during this past dreadful year, more work will have been done. It will be great to see the place again (hopefully..!) in June. I and many others look forward to the reopening, seeing again after so long all the fantastic staff who keep that superb venue spotlessly clean and very well organised, every hour of every day. The above mentioned staff guys must also be credited with contributing to Northwich sauna's refurb. work from the change of ownership, as well as the genuine, friendly and totally committed owners...! I'm looking forward, cautiously, to getting back there soon and seeing Jamie, Mike, the staff guys and all my incredible, good friends in a few weeks time. Oh.... One last thing.... To anyone looking to visit for the first time, NEVER hesitate, just get there and you'll not regret it, ever. I've always said I can promise any new visitor, that within 30 minutes of entering the place, you'll wonder what all your worry was about...... such is the atmosphere there. I've known this happen to people many, many times...!!! Take care folks, be good, Love to all.

It was finished and running long before the venue closed. May be best to check their website prior to reopening,I know they will update it when the rules are known to them.
"Hello, me and a fellow inexperienced friend if mine are planning a visit to Northwich sauna end if this month. Can anyone give advice of any sort, thanks " Wouldn't a face mask be a bit difficult in a sauna as far as breathing goes?

Government will advise one week prior of any restrictions still deemed necessary. Providing all goes to plan, all restrictions will be lifted on 21st of June. This is the logic behind Northwich reopening on 21st. Hope this is more helpful to you.
