Just got back from Swingfields. We arrived Friday and had a really great time. Enjoyed the shows, jelly wresting the fetish tents.

We're still on our way home. A long way to go yet. Loved the weekend and meeting lots of lovely like minded folk. Unfortunately found it too cold to play. Ought to have had heaters in the play areas ( the main part of fest to meet others for play etc) Activities and entertainment were otherwise brilliant. Especially wet t comp. Abi loved the taking part and found it very liberating .)

Did you walk me & another female friend part way back to our tent last night?

We're still headed home after stopping off to take some pics suitable for family viewing of weekend camping trip

We were up in the staff field so we're lucky to say goodbye to Davina this morning.

Our 1st SF, neither of us well but made the most of it & found some confidence!! Loved Davina - could have watched all night. Last night's band was spot on & loved the jelly wrestling. He loved the female dancer last night - great act with a twist.

Was great to catchup with friends & to make new ones xx

We had a awesome time and loved it. The bands were great and loved the separate tents for dance/bands

Out only let down was the toilet/showers.

Half of the showers didn't work half the time and the smell and cleanliness of the toilets was disgusting! The number one thing with swinging is cleanliness and that was really hard this year with the state of the facility's!!

Agreed that the showers were a let down & from sat tea time no one really bothered to sort them out

This morning they were towing them away really early which was also disappointing, having a foam party the night before then removing them so early is a bit daft!

Other than that absolutely no complaints & the entire event knocked socks off last years in many ways

Not long back home, absolutely epic weekend even though I was late arriving Friday evening. I soon made up for it

Even with a dislocate shoulder I still managed a fair bit of flogging on Friday evening. Thanks to all the volunteers

To many great things over the weekend to mention specifics, even the weather couldn't put a damper on things

We were there! First time camping ... our gazebo lasted about 20 mins then the wind destroyed it lol. .. great experience altogether though. Would love to find the lovely couple pitched next to us between red bus and showers the were from Heathrow area and drove an Audi....... I have bright pink hair if you remember us send us a message etc.

Band was amazing last night, loved all the dirty dancing.

Showers very disappointing when he wanted to wash off after foam but not one working.

I ticked a lot of boxes even broke out and did wet t shirt competition and a burlesque dance on stage ,, definite made lots of memories . Not sure about the disjointed and spaced layout, no one wanted the play tents as completely out of the way. Oh and toilets and showers were a disaster. We kept sorting them out as staff didn't care!

Had a great weekend, the weather wasn't as good this year and the toilets/ showers need to be back to the luxury they were last year rather than festival standard this year

But the entertainment was 100% better and had a great time meeting and playing with folks

I was there are and had a epic weekend. Met some really nice people and had a good time messing around all weekend, everyone was so chilled out and I didn't feel unwelcome by anyone, infact I had to take my pick of after party invitations

Some of you may recognise me as "the captain" as I spent most of Friday walking around only in my tighty whiteys and a captains hat,was runner up in the wet y front competition, 70s porn star outfit on Saturday and was a vicar taking confessions Sunday morning.

Staying in the Big Blue tent at the top of the tent field by the road and hedge with the very beautiful young tent buddy with long dark hair

A brilliant weekend all round. Lots of fun and laughs and had the loveliest tent next door neighbours ever. Showers and loos a bit rubbish, but didn't spoil the weekend. Guest appearance from Number One Chap made it super special. Peach's jelly wrestle was epic, Alex did a jolly good turn as a hot gladiator and Belles managed to loose her long sought after disco ball. And the chaps in the food wagon were amazing.

Loved the entertainment throughout. Top effort by those who organised and coordinated it.

Now soaking in a hot bath for 24 hours.

Swingfields was brilliant this year. Great crowd and Atmosphere. Lots of happy faces! And good shout keeping cars out of the tent field, it kept it pretty mud free.

Things that get better every year....

The music.... Some great live bands who really enjoyed being there and had everyone dancing.

The location... How gorgeous was that spot we had an amazing view from our tent just up the hill behind the glamping.

Some stuff that could be better

Agree on loos.... They were minging! And I thought it would be a great idea to have a tent with mirrors and sockets right by the showers for doing hair etc.. Especially as there was a genny there anyhow.

Hot tub spot seemed to be lacking a little tlc this year.

Food: still all sausages and burgers. Could have killed for a curry stall at 1am on Friday night

Fab job to you all again!!!!

Got to say this was an amazing first SF experience for us...really sad it's over. ..loved the hot wax all over my boobs and tried the vacuum bed and loved the violet wand demo in the fet tent...just awesome. Thanks everyone for the fun xx

The security guards and the quad bikes came in very handy when they let me stand on it for a better view of the jelly wrestling....think they should have to take part too though, he was not keen when I suggested that though

It's quite funny comparing what the papers say with what actually happened! It's mostly filler and speculation and comments from people who weren't even there and rehashing previous stories.

The locals the papers spoke to didn't seem too miffed and nobody complained about noise or any other nuisance.

The farmer was lovely and chilled and quite liked being able to raise the issue about poor milk prices in this country for dairy farms

It was the biggest non-story ever. They actually had to re-quote last years article for the 'disgusted locals'.

The disjointed layout was because when the vendors arrived on site a fair few got stuck in the mud after all that rain! The bus bar wasn't able to get to their planned location nor were a few others.

Rain is always expected in Wales but it was getting rather biblical on Wednesday and I for one was considering how to convert my hut into an ark and making up my list of who to take aboard! Though I think three by three is more appropriate than twos if it's all swingers...

Plenty of sausage there anyway. A few more wouldn't have hurt.

A new article online has loads of very clear shots taken inside the arena

Faces have been blurred but I can recognise some from just meeting them at the weekend, so if someone that knows them sees them, I dare say they will have been outed

I loved this year but seeing these new pictures that have surfaced has really put me off, it's clear that someone that was there has taken these and then sold them

So the whole issue of mobiles on site needs addressing properly

Some of them have leaves around, which means someone was lurking in the bushes. However I agree that others were taken from inside the arena.

I think who ever took Those pics attended on one of the days. The only pics they had were of the Roman night so they must have just got in for that night.

Luckily for us, privacy isn't too much of an issue but for others it is.

I think security needs to be upped. This is such a downer on a brilliant weekend xx

For some (myself included) if they are recognised as being part of this, it could have serious repercussions.

Wouldn't matter how innocent the pics were, being outed in a society that still doesn't fully accept alternative lifestyle choices in this way would be awful

We enjoyed our 4th Swingfields, shame about the muddy field stopping the cars being unloaded and the problem with the showers but it didn't spoil what was a brilliant 3 days. We spent most of our time playing in the fetish tent, was good to see lots of people in there. The band on the final night were very good and got everyone dancing and enjoying the last night.

I thought security was supposed to be stepped up regarding phones this year? Asking people to not take them into the main arena doesn't actually enforce anything. We were expecting security when we went into the arena after last year.

This is turning into a proper serious issue for us now. We have a businesses reputation staked on our private life remaining private!

If you look closely at the pictures they are taken with a telephoto Lens. You can see this by the blurring in the corner of the photos. Security was excellent and I fully believe that no pictures were taken from the inside of the arena. How you stop an aeroplane or helicopter though, without the installation of a SAM battery is anyone's guess. Also if you don't go next year, the brown shirts have won.

People are assuming it was a fone but anyone can buy an HD record device off ebay and conceal it quite easily that wouldn't be easy to detect without getting airport security style at all entrances etc... I really hope your business isnt affected by this act of sexual discrimination that the press seem to want to encourage or the spiteful act of the individual who actually took them.

Have faith too as youll be surprised as to how many people you are important to as a business regardless of how you enjoy your private life.

We had a fantastic time at our first Swingfields there was a few small issues that have already been mentioned but we wanted to focus on the good.

atmosphere was electric entertainment was great live music was top notch and the Aurora DJs were pure magic and we thought the security did a great job roll on next year's x

Loved the event but REALLY hoping none of my friends, family or acquaintances see the article and look too closely at the photos!

This wasn't someone with a telephoto lens as mentioned earlier . - this was reporters walking around and freely and randomly taking pictures!

Well I bloody hope they do - before someone recognises me and the many others who's faces are there for all to see!

The problem the SF team have now (and other than this security breach the festival was awesome!) is that the press know about it - and this year they had time to create profiles for reporters and get tickets/take pictures!

Not sure how the SF team can realistically keep the site safe and secure for us all in future - so swingfields may be an event for those who don't mind being pictured in the press from now on!

I really do hope not though - as it's an amazing event! Just hope a way can be found to keep us safe from the press!

If it can't then I'm afraid that was my last swingfields - which makes me very, very sad! X

This is clearly someone inside as he is part of a couple as they describe "they" in the article.I was standing but the entrance in the life modeling class for a while but can't recall who was standing to the left of the door. I am not stupid so your question is ridiculous. Have a look at the sun pics were they taken with telepho lens or people with cameras openly taking pics and not being challenged?

We have woken up to the shockingly sordid press attempts to attack the choices we make as consenting adults. We will be contacting IPSO today as well as our solicitors as this reporter has clearly lied to gain access and gone against all terms on booking to fraudulently gain acess. We are mortified that this article has sunk so low. This designed to cause tension and upset and to stir RESPONSE to further their tacky nastiness. We are speakung to our solicitors today to determine options . There are 2 core issues ; how we all respond NOW (when they have already written it) and how we can tighten up further for future years, IF indeed there IS further events .....!

We will not get into a finite post mortem because the FACT is these "people" set out to do something and did it and whatever we as event organisers did or didnt do still didnt stop them . We and our guests have been caused untold upset and invasion of privacy, now the article is out we must try and unite together (press will want to see reaction)

We will be taking action as we can, we would also ask that anybody personally affected by this article contact IPSO and solicitors to pursue this journalist (who has a sordid history of gutter journalism it appears) for deliberate and gross invasion of privacy and fraudulent application to gain access .

Think I (m) saw the female half of the journalist couple freely walking about the caravan section talking on her phone saturday afternoon and pointed her out to the wife saying I thought you was not allowed to use your phone outside your tent, caravan,etc. This journalist couple brought tickets i thought you had to be validated before you can buy a ticket? Oh dear this is all not good and does not boded well for sf17.

The sun is being incredibly irresponsible posting face pics. This surely is an invasion of privacy. Or do the press have carte blanch to come around to anyones Xmas party now and snap private individuals having a Xmas snog.

Regardless of that your comment was needless. As a fellow swinger i didn't expect to receive a response that was sarcy to the fact we had been recognised. We openly saw the lack of security and someone videoing in a tent.

You know I love you lot and the site - so not trying to be difficult - but these reporters must have a fab profile - and the site was clearly named. Not highly unlikely that if their article generates enough interest then the next one will delve into fab itself.

I've hidden my face pics for now at least - just hoping no-one recognises me from the sun pics.

I think it would be responsible in the circumstances for admin to alert all members that the site is - temporarily at least - 'unsafe' and likely to get a lot of attention from non-swingers for a while - and that people may want to hide face pics as a precaution.

I have already been recognised

. Now making the decision to tell our teenagers before someone else does. Had the most amazing time at our first Swingfields. A brilliantly organised event in many aspects but the lack of security challenges on people taking pics is very worrying.. happy to have my bag searched and frisked everytime I enter the main event area if it stops a repeat.

Sadly you are very mistaken. The sun online article clearly shows pictures taken from not just inside the arena but inside the tents

The article also details that they were posing as a couple and walking around openly and weren't challenged

The pics published are 'tame' ones, doesn't set my mind at rest that they didn't take explicit ones....

I got some extremely bad news about 6am Thursday morning so I wasn't in able to enjoy the weekend as must as I should have.

The music was better this year especially the band on the last night.

The weather didn't help but the swingfields team did their best and everyone made the best of it.

The showers last year were better and there seemed to be more of them and they were cleaner.

And lovely looking busty women lol

My advice for dealing with the papers isn't to go after the papers it's to target the individual reporters they are the ones who wrote the stories and took the pics.

I'm seriously annoyed with the sad individual who not only took but also sold us all out to the press!

I think prosecution is the only answer to rid the face of earth of scum repeating this act!
