I never went when I was in Berlin but I heard they are pretty strict on who's allowed in and they are not very friendly towards Brits ... mind you that was a good few years ago perhaps someone has more up to date info |

If OP does a search on the forum search under Berlin he will find plenty of information.
I found the clubs friendlier and better value than most UK clubs. |

My partner and I went to Insomnia in March. Good facilities, free drinks included with the entrance fee and plenty of people. Check their website for info in English on all the details including the dress code. I think it varies depending on the type of event.
Quite loud techno music which wasn't my scene but lots of play. |
