I guess the guys who have booked are going to be even more in demand than they were last year.. you best be eating 3 weetabix for your brekkie guys!! If guys don't get the pricing and clubs and events charge more in some cases then just don't go. Those who do get the supply and demand factor and do come along will need a week off afterwards is all I'll say "*with* clubs and events charging more....sorry on my mobile x | |||

Why not increase the single female price by £25 &reduce the single male by £25..A level playing field and the hosts receive the same income..

There are also a lot of couples going who do want single guys. Plus quite a few sinle ladies looking for single guys. In the past the single guys have all been really nice friendly guys just most of them out of MrsH prefered age range but we still chatted to them. The beauty of Swingfields is I am sure there is someone for everyone. although a couple of years ago MrsH had to corrupt the bar staff as there were so few single guys | |||

There are also a lot of couples going who do want single guys. Plus quite a few sinle ladies looking for single guys. What about those who are unemployed...I'd say there are quite a few so they need to choose. In no way does it guarantee anything more than a few social meets too after coughing out...so it becomes little more than an expensive coffee meet for many. I can sympathise. I had 3 messages from couples yesterday asking...yet when I read their profile each said not meeting single males...I declined each one politely pointing this out and pointing out I don't meet couples...I got 2 nasty messages and one that said 'well we do sometimes'...

Hardly a rip off in our opinion. As far as being unemployed then that is understandable but when I was unemployed I would never have thought of going to something like this purely down to prioraties with my money. If it is gaurenteed sex that people expect for their money then this certainly is not the event for them. We are one of the couples that likes younger single guys and we have said in the past that it is a shame so few have attended. We have done all 3 so far and each year there have been more singles so it is getting better for people like us who appreciate them. We understand that all single guys are limited to a percentage of the couples attending and obviously there are more and more each year which is great. Some couples certainly dont want lots of single guys but there are quite a few single fems and couples who are going and they also want to meet single guys older or younger. I understand that some think it unfair that single guys pay a premium but that I guess is up to the organisers. It just seems strange that there are so many single guys on fabs yet so few seem to want to attend what is an awesome weekend. Perhaps it is the fact they just want a gaurenteed shag. All I would say is that any single guys who do attend will have a great time, unless they dont like talking, dont like camping, dont like loud music.... " I as a single guy was just trying to respond to the OPS question. I still think it's expensive for what it is offering...I go to bikers weekends and it's a full weekend with bands, talks, film shows, demonstrations, competitions, security etc etc and never pay more than between £20/30 for the whole weekend includes camping and facilities (my next one near Oxford includes a large pool)....and if a couple go they're treated at two single people and pay accordingly. You can't get away from the thinking of 'a shag' as you put it...its a swingers site and most single guys one here (and possibly single ladies) are not swingers...I think they use it primarily to meet for sex. Any couple who go and most single ladies will guarantee getting it....so though it may or may not be the main reason for some...It still is a consideration that others need to acknowledge....its a 'swingers' event. | |||

Firstly its clear you dont wish to go so dont ..... But value is relative so you clearly feel your bikers festival offers better value .... Have a lovely time ....... I am however perplexed by the maths ...... £20-30 a head so lets say 1000 people ...... £20-30,000 ...... 25 staff @ £8 per hour for 3 days doing shifts of 10 hours 750 hours @ £8 = £6,000 staffing, security if SIA licenced will be £5,000 approx , marquees to provide for all weathers - bands, stalls , etc £10,000, toilets and showers £5,000 if poor quality ...(we do luxury ones) , bands @£500 each x 4 over weekend ....£2000, generators and wiring, lighting etc £5000 ..... Then event insurance , furnishings, fire and first aid, licences, hire of seating, tables etc etc etc ...... Its a LONG LIST....Now i guess this event could take money from food and drink vendors who then top load prices and charge £5 a pint or £9.00 for burger n chips !! ......so either this event you refer to is a "charity" making little or no money, a business working at a loss, or the best negotiator on earth OR its not really £20-30 a head .....? Help me understand and we can drop our prices ......, | |||

"It is much more than just a social meet for Coffee. There are bands playing, demonstrations, shows etc. The great security team and much more that all has to be paid for. Hardly a rip off in our opinion. As far as being unemployed then that is understandable but when I was unemployed I would never have thought of going to something like this purely down to prioraties with my money. If it is gaurenteed sex that people expect for their money then this certainly is not the event for them. We are one of the couples that likes younger single guys and we have said in the past that it is a shame so few have attended. We have done all 3 so far and each year there have been more singles so it is getting better for people like us who appreciate them. We understand that all single guys are limited to a percentage of the couples attending and obviously there are more and more each year which is great. Some couples certainly dont want lots of single guys but there are quite a few single fems and couples who are going and they also want to meet single guys older or younger. I understand that some think it unfair that single guys pay a premium but that I guess is up to the organisers. It just seems strange that there are so many single guys on fabs yet so few seem to want to attend what is an awesome weekend. Perhaps it is the fact they just want a gaurenteed shag. All I would say is that any single guys who do attend will have a great time, unless they dont like talking, dont like camping, dont like loud music.... I as a single guy was just trying to respond to the OPS question. I still think it's expensive for what it is offering...I go to bikers weekends and it's a full weekend with bands, talks, film shows, demonstrations, competitions, security etc etc and never pay more than between £20/30 for the whole weekend includes camping and facilities (my next one near Oxford includes a large pool)....and if a couple go they're treated at two single people and pay accordingly. You can't get away from the thinking of 'a shag' as you put it...its a swingers site and most single guys one here (and possibly single ladies) are not swingers...I think they use it primarily to meet for sex. Any couple who go and most single ladies will guarantee getting it....so though it may or may not be the main reason for some...It still is a consideration that others need to acknowledge....its a 'swingers' event. Firstly its clear you dont wish to go so dont ..... But value is relative so you clearly feel your bikers festival offers better value .... Have a lovely time ....... I am however perplexed by the maths ...... £20-30 a head so lets say 1000 people ...... £20-30,000 ...... 25 staff @ £8 per hour for 3 days doing shifts of 10 hours 750 hours @ £8 = £6,000 staffing, security if SIA licenced will be £5,000 approx , marquees to provide for all weathers - bands, stalls , etc £10,000, toilets and showers £5,000 if poor quality ...(we do luxury ones) , bands @£500 each x 4 over weekend ....£2000, generators and wiring, lighting etc £5000 ..... Then event insurance , furnishings, fire and first aid, licences, hire of seating, tables etc etc etc ...... Its a LONG LIST....Now i guess this event could take money from food and drink vendors who then top load prices and charge £5 a pint or £9.00 for burger n chips !! ......so either this event you refer to is a "charity" making little or no money, a business working at a loss, or the best negotiator on earth OR its not really £20-30 a head .....? Help me understand and we can drop our prices ......," I didn't do any maths...I quoted what we pay. Try the 4 day Irish bikers festival.....its actually free for the whole weekend...3-6 june. There will be many fabbers there just saying. The pints are same as a pub...between 2.50 and 4.50 depends on the drink and burgers were about the same depending on chips or not. You're right in that I won't be going. But you seem to be offended in some way at pointing out the value. You may think it's great value and that good for you. The OP asked why so few single men were going...quite a few posted about the cost. Read my earlier comments and you can see I was saying I thought it was unfailingly expensive towards single me.
