Heya guys. We are thinking about going to Swingfields this year and was wondering if any other younger couples go and, if you are one of those, what your experiences were.
We know the majority will be older (which isn't a bad thing) but just seeking advice... |

We have been twice you get a whole mix of different age groups & Stu , Debs snd the team are great you will find that there is lots to do for all ages a very popular weekend so I'm sure you will have fun

Were going. Not sure of the demographics as its our first time there, but it shouldn't be too bad from what I've heard. It'll be a fun weekend whatever happens.
However I'd check if it's sold out, because I have a funny feeling it might be. |

You will get a while spectrum of ages, looks, colour, creed, sexual orientation and size.
Swingfields is a big event and there is usually something for everyone. We know of at least 3 or 4 younger couples going and we don't knkw that many people so you can bet there will be a pretty good representation of the younger generations.
In the end there's only one way to find out

I have been twice, and am going again this year. It is brilliant. Fun, relaxed, loads of varied stuff arranged....demos to watch, sexy shopping, dancing, jelly wrestling......
The fact that it is over a few days gives you chance to get over any nerves and loads of time to get to know people. Enjoy  |

Went last year and its a great venue ,the site is very professionaly run,,showers Abd toilets spotless,and there's plenty to do,and a large mixture of the young and old,single men ,single women ,couples etc,if you do go ,i quarentee you will have great fun |

Hey, yes you do camp. There a few different options for accommodation though. If you check out the swingfields website you can see them on there.
Music last year was a couple of different dj's your usual club stuff we would say. |

Single guys go down very well and there has been a shortage of them in recent years. Although we would recommend reading the T&C's and getting a few meets and veris behind you before applying for a ticket  |

I don't think I could actually tell. It was in both areas last year... but the difference between them, couldn't say. |

Both really..Some tend to slope back to their tents etc. later in the evening and there is very little playing in the play areas during the day. The daytime fun tends to be back at the tents.. |

I think I've been camping too long or become a bit of a hippy - I was just going to tie my hair up

Hi. We went last year. It was great fun. Not as much playing as we thought there would be. The average age was around 40. There were plenty of younger peeps around late 20's and also some over 50. So depends what you want. It was a real mixed bag to be honest. Hope this helps |

past couple of years they have a tent for ladies to plug in straightners etc.. we are in a motorhome and have a small genny we are happy to charge peoples phones etc. |

Whilst I admire your ambition, that is a very bold statement to make. We are happy with the risk I dont think that is something you can absolutely guarentee. They are a very manipulitive breed of people and as they say 'where there is a will there is a way'. Unless you are willing to spend an absolute fortune on a top London barrister that slaps an injunction on all press outlets citing that this is not a 'public interest' story that barrs them from publishing I see no other way you can make that statement.But as we say, we are happy with the level of risk vs hopeful reward. |

As I said, in our mind it is risk versus reward. I agree that outside the venue is not something that can be policed by the organisers but then its the same with any club or venue. Hopefully the story will have run its course and nobody is really fussed anymore...'tomorrow's chip paper'. I just hope we get lot's of reward...worst case you can always claim you got it mixed up with another festival. |
