Hoping for advice from couples who have been to both clubs please.

We are looking at one of these clubs in next couple of weeks and are interested in what you think of each place and the facilities.

Also about joining etc.

Thank you in advance

In your bed

Been to both and it depends what you want.

Quest has updated itself, but more significantly for us was the addition of a couples only night once a month.

Has a car park outside.

Single sex changing areas.

Plenty of playrooms with some lockable.

A huge cinema area with lots of area to play.

The bar is pretty nice and drinks reasonable.

All on one level.

Has a wet area but we never go to try it when we went.

La chambre has a couples only night once a week.

Car parking opposite the club.

It's an older club but been a while since we last went.

Spread over 3 floors. (seemed larger than Quest, but that could be just me).

Plunge pool with room for 5 or 6 couples.

Again several playrooms.

An outside area, but concealed from external view.

A large dungeon area.

Playrooms area more varied. ( probably due to the older nature of the club so continued development rather than a fresh start that Quest has had).

We've had fun at both, for us it would depend on when we were free. If it was the one night a month Quest was couples only we'd go there due to its location. But we also like la chambre still and in a way la chambre feels larger and more varied.

It really depends what you want.

Modern sleek and designed for swinging then Quest.

Larger more varied but older the la chambre.

But if you have the time given the rates for cpls now why not try both.

That`s a great review! I had heard that the revamped Quest was getting a lot of deserved attention and perhaps it`s time that other clubs in that area had a serious look at the all-round appearance of their clubs!

I can't advise on Quest because I simply don't know, I'm sure others can fill in this info for me.

Joining for La Chambre is free membership and either £20 or £25 entry depending on if you go on a Friday/Sunday or a Saturday. It's a sign up on the door process and just needs some ID with your names and addresses on.

Pretty sure it'll be a similar process for Quest

We regularly go to La Chambre, and love it yes, it's older but it's very clean, in good condition, very comfortable, very friendly, the staff are very friendly and helpful. And it's always couples and single women only on a saturday

We have been to quest to meet friends, it's very new, clean, and nice, but personally didn't find it as cosy. We would definitely go back there though

I would advise trying both and see which you prefer (that's my motto )

Bun

Quest is free membership for couples also, and they are now having two couples/single ladies only nights per month. The 1st and 3rd

Been to both loads of times, both very different. Honestly preferring Quest now, it's a much cheaper night out for us too. Would be worthwhile trying both out tho and forming your own opinion.

We've been to both, though it's a while since we went to Chams. We prefer Quest by some margin. There is the fact that it's new and so feels clean. However, for us when we go (always Saturdays) it is the fact that they seem to limit the ratio of single men to couples/females. At Chams it felt like a horde or men followed us around waiting to pounce and it was unpleasant. At Quest we like that there are some single men on a non couples night as they add some spice to the play, but we have never feel overwhelmed. Horses for courses for there are sure to be couples who like the men on tap as it were, but not us.

If you go to chams you must know that ALL single men must be out by 7.00 PM so single guys are never a problem at cham's on a Saturday night

Isn't Chams short for Chameleons? Another club entirely surely

It must be as La chambre have always been couples and single ladies only on a Saturday night.... No single guys allowed at all.

That was always my understanding. Chams = Chameleons

LC's = Le Chambre

I was thinking the same, also single men are not allowed at all on a Saturday at La Chambre (it's couples and women only) so they must be talking about Chameleons.

Quest is most certainly the better all round club, La Chambre was in its day the leading club but it is now feeling tired and in need of a good update.

Quest is now the club that La Chambre used to be years ago, the class leader. In short,Quest is smart, classy, well run and most of all its busy!

La Chambre website says £25 annual membership and Quest is free membership for couples, not the end of the world in cost but it does help if you have a less extravagant budget

Quest is by far a better experience we think and it would be no hard descision on where to go.

Have fun wherever you end up going .

La Chambre has now been open 18yrs and has stood the test of time, from the moment I walked in I was made to feel extremely welcome by the staff and my first impression was WOW, what a very comfortable warm and friendly place.

You are first presented with a large Bar area with seating and tables along with a dance floor and DJ booth, there is a Stage with a dance pole too. A very friendly place to meet people, have a great night listening to great music and a very reasonabley priced Bar.

Leading off from the bar area is the locker room, taking you through to the wet area with a heated pool and sauna, showers and toilets. Upstairs there are a vast number of themed paly rooms, some are open rooms, some have doors on with viewing windows and then there are private rooms, there is even a gloy hole room that is good fun x and all rooms are very clean and spotless, toilets up stairs too. Down stairs there is a very large dungeon area that is split in two, the large area is full of dungeon equipment for you to use and explore your fetish / naughty side and the small area has a good seating area with a large TV screen playing porn movies and another gloy hole room. There is a large outside yard area that is very private and a smoking shelter too. All in all this club is very friendly, well thought out giving you so many options of what you want to do on your night out. The staff work extremely well and contstantly look after the place and the people, nothing is to much trouble for them. I would recommend this club to anyone.

This Saturday night is a themed night which are always popular and the theme is Uniforms.

We have attended both. Quest would most certainly be our prefered venue of the 2. A really good friendly atmosphere, immaculate and a definate policy on dressing down to go to the play areas.

Only been to the fetish nights but from a facilities point of view Quest wins hands down.

Car park, brand new and beautifully decorated.

Hot tub, sauna and steam room. Nice changing facilities.

La Chambra is ok but really showing its age now and needs a serious refit. Specially in the social area.

Lc everyone!

As a young early 30s couple we found quest very cliquey.

Staff at Lc are just the best by a mile. Yes we agree quest is newer and facilities are great but no atmosphere. No offence but playing a cd of s club 7 hardly gets me in the mood! Agree Lc needs updating in the social area but dj and dance floor are an amazing ice breaker for newbies.

Also found unless you go on a couples only night once a month at quest we were swamped on both occasions by single guys (their policy is 4 single guys per couple as on website) far too many they even barge and talk loudly at couples only room door off putting. They need door staff to monitor this and the excessive drinking also dont like how quest allow youngster in in tracksuits! Who then got so d*unk they were running round screaming like a youth club. We have never had one issue at Lc doorstaff are AMAZING and are on top of all issues immediately.

My advice Lc just down to staff/people that attend better night all round x
