Double standards when advertising clubs

over the hill and far away

A few days ago a thread was allowed to continue for a while advertising a 'New Spa' in the Manchester area, which was infact false advertising for an already existing club which was changing its opening hours

Last night a posting was opened advertising a new club which might be opening in Southport. This posting was removed within hours.

Has FAB got double standards when it comes to this? It clearly states under the section of Swinging Club discussion that no advertising was to take place on this section.

Why was it therefore allowed for the club in Manchester to be allowed to disregard this ruling?

Seeing as the OP of the club in Manchester is still allowed to post about her 'Spa' under a different title, I do believe there might be some rule bending here with them still advertising their opening times. Perhaps with a 48 hour ban on OP's if these rules are flouted
