Is it legal that Single Guys are charged more than others at Swingers Clubs? And if it happened say at a golf club or a gym, would anyone take an issue? |

Yes it's legal. They are classed as private members clubs and can therefore positively discriminate by giving cheaper entry to under represented people, ie women. The argument stands that if it was a set price for everyone clubs would end up being a massive cockfest. |

I think that the clubs would say that they charge everyone equally and then offer discounts to those who are underrepresented to encourage them to attend. |

I've never suggested that we or anyone else is an elite swinger.
However in every thread, he has stated that he is new and hasn't been to clubs. Yet he openly insults people with no experience or evidence to back it up.
I suggested that he actually gain some experience before he insults people. At least then he may have a valid excuse.
Maybe you should have looked at his other posts before jumping to his defence and accuse others of being rude... It reminds me of the the saying " People in glass houses..." |

That is a VERY sweeping statement based on limited knowledge, as if you did your homework, you would find that many of us actually have a fair pricing policy OR have several events which charge the same price for all.

By the volume of response, I think most guys aren't happy about being charged so much, but some also understand why clubs do it.
And also many, like myself, are hesitant in going to one for many reasons as mentioned.

Single guys attending clubs do not want it packed with blokes and pricing seems the fairest policy of keeping a reasonable balance .

Entry fees at La Chambre:
Couples £20/£25 depending on the night, single guys £20/£25 depending on the night
Membership at La Chambre
Couples (without the current discounted offer) £25 p.a. Single guys £25 p.a.
Pretty fair between gents and couples if you ask me. OK single women get it heavily discounted but otherwise prices are comparable.
I reckon a lot of other clubs will have comparable pricing between the gents and couples too really, if you were to look at it. Perhaps this isn't as big an issue as it would seem |

Entry fees at La Chambre:
Couples £20/£25 depending on the night, single guys £20/£25 depending on the night
Membership at La Chambre
Couples (without the current discounted offer) £25 p.a. Single guys £25 p.a.
Pretty fair between gents and couples if you ask me. OK single women get it heavily discounted but otherwise prices are comparable.
I reckon a lot of other clubs will have comparable pricing between the gents and couples too really, if you were to look at it. Perhaps this isn't as big an issue as it would seem
I have done a little homework on this and its not as bad as I thought it was. So yes, maybe the clubs aren't that bad. single woman get in free and pay very little .. Should it not be same as both single?"
Single women are very under represented groups at clubs though so the previously mentioned positive discrimination is to encourage greater attendance from this group |

Xtasia club west brom had a free night 2 weeks ago 'yes FREE for men women and couples' yet with over 450 on the guest list only around 60 were single men and I would say not even that on the night
So why is it that when it's offered so few don't take up the offer yet we always see the moaning in forums about the price. Yet a few still managed to drag the single male image through the mud with inappropriate behaviour.

Maybe the entry price should be the same, but once inside, ladies can individually ask for a bit extra on top!? That way, the guys can choose what they pay, the club doesn't get bad press, the ladies can decide who gets what and at what price, and these thread don't get grief all the time. Hey, genius! x x  |
