I have been to both, as has Spicy, so it pretty much depends what you are looking for.
If you want the choice of playing in a lockable room or in public then VA isn't for you.
If you want a huge hot tub and onsite hotel rooms then JDs isn't the place for you.

For me. V a gets the vote.
But try both "
i'm not so sure va has the more attractive clientele but it's certainly more pretentious than jaydees  |

And its comments like that, that put me off even trying va. I've been to another 'upmarket' club and I was made to feel line a leper. Jds has always been friendly and welcoming |

Funny because I used to think the same. I went to VA with an attitude that I wouldn't like it and I didn't when I went because I already had a preconceived idea of what it was like. I didn't mingle and kept myself to myself. I then went back with an open mind and tried it for myself let go off others' opinions and had a great night.
I was talking to someone earlier and said whichever club you go to keep an open mind and mingle and make you're own opinions. I can try anywhere with an open mind. |

Don't get me wrong, I did at the last place, I was meeting a couple there and when they saw me arrive the sort of avoided me like the plague so I chatted to other people and stuff and although most were kind as they could see my predicament they only chatted for a few mins as I obviously wasn't what they were looking for, which is of course more than fine!! I'm just keen not to feel like I did again!!! |

We have only been to VA of a night and Eurekas in the day so by no means experienced but I don't understand the " V A is upmarket" as being a negative.
It's clean, nicely laid out and the staff are great.
We have felt totally relaxed there and we even spoke to some people last time!
We are not gym fit or super confident but have felt relaxed enough to play on our own and enjoyed our visits.
Not been to Jaydees so can't comment.

I'm visiting the UK from the US in mid-March and given how much better the scene is here, am trying to pick the best place to go to on a Saturday night March 12 (bearing in mind I'm one of those dreaded single males)
I was looking at JD or Mingles, now this ones a new one.

Hi, himandherxo its a shame your not coming along on Friday 19th of feb as we are holding a night then for younger couples from 21 to 35, its looking like a good night, although we do get couples of all ages on a Saturday.
I think we have a lovely club here, its different all round, we have posh cosy areas, open area's. The place is very country with old beams etc. We also have private lockable rooms....etc. etc.
We also get lots of very gorgeous and friendly. people that attend our club, its very bad that some one could pass a comment saying that one club has gorgeous people and one doesn't. There is also the fact that everyone looks different, with different shapes and sizes and what one person thinks is good looking isn't another persons.
Either club is good and we hope you enjoy which ever one you go too x

Sorry I also had to look up the word pretentious, I have copied and pasted it into this forum.
You might not be surprised to learn that pretentious is related to the word pretend, and it is an adjective that fits the bill for describing someone who's only concerned with making an impressive appearance. If you don't want to be accused of being pretentious, just act naturally and don't put on airs! |

Never been to JD's but like someone else said you won't beat VA for class and luxury.
Love VA and I live virtually on the doorstep so I would say that I guess lol

Thanks everyone for your opinions. We have visited Va before a couple of times and loved it so have decided to go back again in march ??
Would also love to visit Jaydees also though so be seeing any regulars there very soon! |

Thankyou guys I know it is a shame as we were contacted about that night and defiantly would have come if we were free.
Heard good things about the club so will be visiting for sure!

We got abused with messages saying people that got to jds are trailer trash from a va regular hence why we havent shown our beautiful faces!
Although weve heard that va is a nice club as in decoration
Jds is welcoming, fun, friendly and full of sexy people with no pressure play, and you can stay dressed if you wish!

I would be very interested to know who said that about Jaydee from the VA members, its not something I have heard, but beware of the nastiness that goes on behind the scenes with a certain collective from neither club, weve had someone this week out of spite and jealousy post messages on our site about a staff members.
Both clubs are welcoming, both care about their members and both will welcome newcomers regardless of size, colour, social standing or any other preconceived elitism...
best bet is try for yourself as no-one else knows what you are looking for or want.
