Kestrels / AbFabs - best night for new couples?

Hi all,
hoping to make a little better of our second forum post and try to get some honest opinions from COUPLES about the best times/days to visit Kestrels/AbFabs for new couples and what we could expect for our first time at a club...

We were going to suggest Monday night, but after reading your profile have concluded it might be too bi for you - although many people there are not bi! In our experience it is a great night. Alternatives are Friday, quite a few single guys but fun or Saturday couples only. We haven't tried Tuesday or Wednesday.
We enjoyed every evening we went and found arranging to meet people there made a big difference. It is always nerve wracking to approach people!

Depends on what you're looking for. If you don't want to be overwhelmed with single guys go on a Saturday where it is more chilled out. If you want to meet someone worth trying to arrange it first |

All, thanks for the advice. We've heard about Friday nights being too much like a cattle market worth single gents pestering you to much, so would probably give it a mid for our first time. Have heard a lot about Wednesdays and Saturdays being the best days, and the advice above seems to back that up.
Monday nights would maybe be an option too, but we'd rather go with another couple to any first time there so we're amongst friendly company and not like rabbits in the headlights. |

Saturdays are you best bet - its more relaxed than the other nights but still lots of fun.
As for Kestrels it's a lottery and there will always be more single guys than anyone else no matter what day you go. Sundays tends to have a good few couples visiting but might be an idea to post a meet if you're looking for a couple. |

Ok. It really does depend on what you are looking for. I've been visiting Kestrels / Abfabs for a couple of years now. Both on my own and with a couple of lady friends.. Best time to meet a bi partner, either M or F or if you are lucky both, is a Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday are clothing optional and can be quiet or busy depending on the time of the month or the weather. Thursdays is daytime only and tends to be quieter. |

They keep Kestrels and Abfabs as separate names as the rules around dress codes are different as well as the access to the facilities is slightly more open under the Abfabs name... It's easier... Trust me...R |

We'd echo the"Saturday" message as being a relaxed and friendly night, But it depends what you're after. We most enjoy playing with other couples, but if you're a "greedy girl" then you might want to look at other nights. |
