We're just curious to know if there are any clubs etc where you can go and not take part, just simply watch?

I don't know of one where that wouldn't be fine.

I believe that is fine in the public play areas of clubs. Those who are not comfortable with being watched go to private rooms.

eureaka is a very voyeuristic club , plenty of opportnitys to watch there,

in the summer they have a meadow where everyone plays in the open
