Hi
Ok, apologies in advance for what I'm sure is a benal post to some.
Thinking of attending abfabs on Friday for the first time.
It's swingcherries night. What can I expect?
Single guy here. Not asking if I can expect fun...just never been and would love some tios and advice.

I think you meant "banal". 
Not been to AbFabs yet although I have been to Kestrels quite a few times. From the experiences I have had and the chat's I have had with those that have been then you should be in for a pretty good time. The facilities are excellent and you should have quite a choice of whether you relax and enjoy good friendly company or tire yourself out with lots of fun. The main advice is treat everyone with respect and don't be pushy. That way lies the path to the most fun.

Very good point, they open pre-book list on the previous Monday. However, there is a reserve lost and I'm told they now base the number of single male places on the number of couples and single women who have pre-booked, so more places may open if more couples and women book later in the week. |

V here.
Fridays can be odd... To ensure success (as opposed to standing around looking like a spare prick) get there early (but not too early), look great (too many in tshirts and jeans) and make contact with people. The club has amazing facilities but there is this weird thing that happens, usually before 11pm/midnight, when the, previously crowded, main bar/sitting area just empties out. It's when people pluck up the courage to pair up and head to the dungeon. You want to have established a connection before then... After that guys start to do the "wandering around aimlessly" thing which could get you lucky but often results in failure.
Arranging to meet people there often helps too... Instant friends.
generally it's a pretty friendly place and if nothing else you can chill in a hot tub.
