Hatfield area

Plenty round Heathrow where you can pick up a deal. Just make sure you call a local cab rather than one off the rank - they have a fixed fee!

Also ring kestrels - they can advise on bus options (think one goes right past)

Newbury / London

Travelodge T5 is usually well priced, just depends whether you want a more upmarket hotel or just happy for a bed / shower / etc.

It's about 5 minutes at most from there to AbFabs / Kestrels using taxi, which costs about £6/£7 or so. Both Travelodge and AbFabs seem to use Station Cars Langley (free phone in hotel reception) whom we've never had any problems with. In fact most Saturdays there are usually a few of them shuttling to and from hotel.

Thank you both for the info, I would normally travel by car from further afield but that's not possible at the moment. A Travelodge is fine for a couple of nights, the most important thing is proximity to the club without a car.

Thanks again for the help x

Slough Windsor ish

T5 "shaggerlodge" is where many stay... cheap clean and walkable in daylight. Usually a good after party, party crowd too! I'd not bother with their breakfast though.... for the sake of a 5 min drive towards Slough on the A4 you will find the Toby carvery does a great start to the day for £5 ??
