Does anyone know how much a cab would be from New st. to Chams??
I'm hoping someone can give me an estimate .
Would love to go in the new year, and its a tricky bugger to get to when you don't drive, so looking at the possibility of a hotel in brum for a night, maybe bussing it to chams then maybe a taxi back. Or if anyone knows any decent brum cab firms who I could ring and get a quote from, that would be cool too.
Cheers me dears!!

I have often caught a taxi to Chams from Birmingham City Centre and it's around 20 quid.
However, it always costs more on the return journey (not sure why something to do with it being after midnight and different local authority pricing structures). |

Last time I did darlaston to brum and back, I pre booked and pre paid the cab driver for the return journey and he did it for the same price. |

You may have to kick you heels for a bit but if you change trains at New Street and get a Walsall service your taxi fare would be cheaper, certainly on the way. Not sure if it works on the way back though. |
