We have joined two clubs and attended a few times . great nights have been had however the club we want to attend has a strict 21 age limit . while i see sense in this . if its a couple like ourselfs where we are obviously sensible then common sense should prevail .
Ps the law on adult entertainment venues are 18 I checked today |

Open Tonight Fri 27 CLOSED Saturday 28 |
As you say minimum age is 18. So it's purely the clubs choice to make it 21 plus.
Many nightclubs do the same thing - research suggests that less 'trouble' occurs with 21+ membership.
Overall it's our experience that there is very little 'trouble' in swingers clubs in general.
But in the end it's heir choice.

What makes you two obviously sensible as opposed to any other couple?
Clubs have age limits for more than one reason but maybe if you contact one or two asking if they will waive the lower age limit in your case they will. However if the other clients object you might find it difficult. |

"What makes you two obviously sensible as opposed to any other couple?"
my age vs hers is the obvious one and ive seen many mid 40's couples miss behave in clubs over 8 years of going . |

Your age compared to your partners wouldn't make you appear obviously more sensible to me, I'm not really sure what my criteria would be.
I've seen people of all ages behave really sensibly and really stupidly. |

And the above proves my point age does no equal sensible behavior |

Are you implying that my comments aren't sensible? |

Couple or not, an age restriction is an age restriction. Respect it.
I always thought it was related to insurance, like with car's.
I'd prefer clubs to have a minimum 25 years age policy but then the club's I attend do bdsm nights |

I'm not sure that "sensible" behaviour is always the reason for age restrictions at clubs, probably more catering to the tastes of the majority of the clientele... |

Surely the club is setting the age limit because that is their choice. This also allows the people attending to know other people attending are over 21!
Should clubs allow a single male in on a couples night because he is sensible?

Oh my goodness us too. I find it very unnerving to see kids our children's ago in clubs, especially when they are in their street wear .... that's judgemental of me, I know, but I just cannot get comfortable with it .... I swear one of my son's friends said 'hi darling' to me last week at bmfc |

So if a couple were both 19 you think they would automatically be less sensible than you? |

Also you've just argued against yourself here! You're saying that because of your (his) age you would be sensible but then agree that age is not equal to sensible!
We were 20 and 21 when we started going to clubs, you just have to go to the ones that are 18+ rather than 21+ for a couple of years |

FWIW, I prefer the age limit to be 21.
Why? Because when I was almost 16 I was going to swingers saunas and fetish clubs on a fake ID.
It's pretty easy for someone for someone to fake a three year age gap, even at that age - including the ID. It's alot less hard to fake a five or six year age gap at that age.
I don't want there to be any risk that I could be having sex with a minor at sex clubs. The last thing I need in my life is that kind of hassle. |

Not sure about this. Being in clubs and socials with Jizzabelle can be tricky. She is seen as an easy mark by some very unsavoury types and is rather vulnerable. The problem is not the young people but the preditoty nature of desperate men.... The high paying bread and butter of the clubs. You only need to look at our verifications to see what kind of couple we are. As for personal taste.... Too young? What about too black too disabled too Jewish? I am shocked at the backward nature of some elements in the swinging scene its right out of the 70's |

Yes it's very similar to racism, & discrimination
Because you can land in prison, loose your children to social services and spend the rest of your life on a list, reporting to the police station every time you move...... For sleeping with someone "too black" "too disabled" "too jewish"
I guess you'll be suing car insurance companies and firms that don't employed people under 25 first, then me |
