"Hi looking to visit ab fabs for the first time next week with my fella
Any advice or tips...is it more of a wet club ? What do you wear etc x
Thanks xx"
It is a swingers club. I don't know what a wet club is. It has a covered and heated swimming pool, a couple of hot tubs and a sauna
Saturday evenings are restricted to couples and single women
There is a large social area and lockable play rooms dotted here and there. Also a cinema where, guess what, pornography is screened
The 'dungeon' has a variety of public play rooms
Wear something sexy; having said that, I have been there loads of times wearing an ankle-length skirt and three-quarter sleeve t-shirt and still received a fair bit of attention
The staff are very friendly but it is very professionally run |

Hi thanks for reply.
What I ment by wet club is, I've been to a few different ones and some are like a night club/bar. With the options to enter the wet areas saunas etc
And then I've been to a club where you walk in and your smack bang into and wet Area, it's dress down (towels etc)
I know what a swingers club is I just wanted to get a heads up or what type etc sorry if I didn't make that clear.
Thanks again. |

The wet areas are outside of the main house. You can hire a locker (refundable deposit) with towels and use the wet areas. There is no extra charge for this
It is quite a large club. Do take flip flops if you want to walk bare foot as the walkways are wooden and there is risk of splinters
Have a great evening |

So from a regular to kestrels (same place as abfabs but daytime)
From 10.30am until 6pm the expectation is that it's naturist... So you either get naked and wear your towel and flip flops, or a dressing gown and flip flops.
Once 6pm comes you can either stay that way or get dressed, there is a mixture of both from mom-thurs.
It has to be said that most people arriving after 7 are usually dressed.
I have never been to abfabs evening parties at the weekend but understand that it is dress to impress, that mainly it's bar/lounge and then some people choose to use the "wet" facilities. They would then dress down as per the "daytime" in towel/ dressing gown + flip flops. Note if you don't bring flip flops they will make you buy them at reception.
If you choose to do this the for a £5 deposit you can get a locker to put all your stuff in.
You can take your own alcohol, they don't sell any but do provide soft drinks - tea/coffee/Coke/lemonade for free.
I would advise booking for the weekend parties online, and as others have said its mixed couples/singles on Friday nights but couples and single women only on Saturday nights.
Hope this helps x |
