I've never been and would be great to go with some like minded company

I guess it comes down to what you are looking for expecting from a visit. If you are looking to play then hopefully you will get some interest. If you are open to whatever happens then just go. Sure, it's often pretty quiet but you may just get lucky. I did on my last visit.
