My partner and I went to Abfabs for the first time on Friday night. We were really impressed with the staff, so friendly and helpful, we loved the club, loved the set up etc. Now then we are not new at going to clubs, and have never had a problem in chatting to people we are both very friendly and sociable. But we found Friday night really hard work in getting any of the other guests to chat???? We came away wondering if we had hit a bad night? Or is it just really clicky???
What are others thoughts??? We are thinking maybe just a bad night and we will go again on a different night and hope for a different experience?

I must say - I always find that the first time I go to a new club. I think after a few times you get to know a few people and it becomes easier
Last night I went to amours, and it was a good laugh. I know most of the staff there now, and a few regulars that I have managed to get to know

Maybe we will wear badges that say you can talk to us? We won't bite unless asked? |

I couldn't agree with you more, I felt the same thing when I was a single person on the scene. But as a couple we have never experienced this before at other clubs, have always found as new faces the regulars want to chat to you. We certainly haven't been put off going again, the staff were great loved the set up etc. hoping for a better night next time |

We have found it clicky on occasion but usually on nights run by another swinging site where a lot of people prearranged to meet. Mind you, we just introduce ourselves and never have a problem with chat, we all have a mutual interest after all
Abfabs was the first club we went to and we love the facilities there, don't let Friday's experience put you off x |

"Hmmm I'm looking to go on Tuesday as a single male. Any advice?"
I am thinking a single male can offer the best advice, there were single males there when we went, but not even they spoke to us as a couple lol. My partner chatted to one when he had a cigarette. Another spoke to me when my partner went to the loo at one point, but together we were not approached lol if we had been we would have chatted, although we were there to meet other couples so it wouldn't have gone anywhere |

We are going Tuesday during the daytime. Only advice I'd give you as a single guy is just to be respectful and to ask before touching. Try striking up conversation with people, we've always found most people there to be really chatty, regardless on whether we want to play with them or not Have fun! |

We have been on Mondays and Fridays and always had a great time. It sounds like it was just a bad night. We have found that getting in touch with people who have been before (club veri's) has meant that we might find someone to talk to that we are already interested in once at the club, we have generally found people to be pretty friendly - name badges are an interesting idea, not sure where you would put them on some people! |

We have been to kestrels during the day, and again on a Friday Evening, and probably found that people were more chatty during the day? (Maybe we were lucky!)
I guess the best idea is to put a meet up on Fabs and see if others are going, so you can make contact before you go, you’re not committing yourself to play, but merely to chat when you get there.
Hope this helps!
