Just looked at their website sounds really friendly and welcoming.

Indeed. Although it is nice to find someone to go with it really is perfectly fine turning up by yourself. There are always friendly people around and as long as you are prepared to be friendly and make a bit of an effort you should be well rewarded with a fine time there. Excellent facilities too.

You will be fine at Kestrels. As above, if you just sit in the corner like a wallflower, don't expect to get anywhere. You get out what you put in!
