We are staying in a hotel near chams on Saturday so though we may plan a visit. Looking on the website it says in the FAQ's to call before arriving. Is this essential or can we just turn up?

Your usually OK as a couple Paul rang before we went but didn't need to, they just advise what time is best to arrive etc

If you're new you usually need id. Photo id and something with your address on.
