This is more a question for people who work in swingers clubs, but I wonder, if someone is banned from a club, is that information shared with other clubs so that they get banned from all UK clubs for example?
A question for everyone else, is do you think that a system like this should be in place, if it isn't already?
I understand from a data protection point of view, this probably wouldn't be available straight away, but to gain entry to most clubs you have to show ID and sign something, so adding an extra paragraph stating that in the case of you getting banned, your details will be shared with other clubs (not routinely shared, just if you get banned) could solve any data protection issues. There could then be a list of clubs participating in the scheme.
Although you wouldn't get blanket coverage, you could easily get the main clubs, parties and events signed up.
Do you think it could make the clubs safer? |

We actually have a system in the North West area which I set up a couple of years ago along this premise. We DON'T share full information. What we do share is their first name and a full description. The problem we have is that many clubs do not take full membership details of their guests, so there is no point handing over full details, even if data protection wasn't in place.
So the name and description is all we can work with.
We do this when someone has done something which eithr breaks the law or put other members in danger. So for example, drug taking, physical assault or any situation where the police have been involved. Another scenario would be someone who has proven to out members, using their personal details, thus breaching confidentiality and putting other members in danger. We circulate these basic details and some clubs take part, others don't really care to be honest and don't even reply.
I would prefer to do this knowing that I have done my bit to protect other members. |

Thanks Townhouse, I would much prefer to play in clubs that have the safety of their patrons as their top priority. I can't understand why some clubs dont want to participate. It could only take one serious incident to lose your whole business. |

Yes a proper system should be in place, we had an incident earlier in the year at Tease II where a member of staff was assaulted by someone, we did informally make other clubs in the area aware with fabswingers name, description and first names, however they have attended another local club and even wrote a review
So yes a proper system should be in place x |
