Hi

We are going to try the Townhouse club for the first time. I had a look on Google maps and the outside looks rather depressing. I have heard good things about the club and seen picture on their website so am hoping for a good night.

What do I wear? We normally go to a wet club so normally I wear a basque with heels and stockings. Orsome other revealing underwear and Mr B wears a towel.

We are not club virgins but would like a little advice on what to expect.

I would be very happy with any advice anyone could give me.

Xx Mrs B

The outside may look a little run down however the inside is gorgeous I'm sure you'll have an amazing time.

What you describe you would normally wear is fine for the club if you wish to dress down immediately however you can choose to wear smart attire on the ground floor at the start of the night of you wish.

Unfortunately we're away when you're visiting but I hope you have an amazing night

We purposely keep the outside of the building looking a bit run down to detract unwanted attention! The inside is lush though and the pictures on our website are not enhanced or fake in any way; it really is lovely. Also if you read the reviews on here you will see people commenting on the interior which should put your mind at ease.

As for dress code, that has been answered for you xx

To reiterate the point made earlier. Completely ignore both the area and the outside of the venue.

If it was just a bar it would be good, the stock alone would put many high end places to shame; 28 gins and proper premium spirits.

The rest, well it's excellent.

We went to Townhouse for the first time on Saturday for the burlesque charity event and we had an amazing time. The place itself is immaculate, you can tell that the owners and staff keep impeccable standards.

We are new to the scene and we're made to feel welcome by the staff and also some of the regulars who we chatted too.

We won't be leaving it too long until our next visit....although we must enlist the help of others with the swing on our next visit, im certain we just weren't getting things quite right and I'm not sure the sound of crazy giggling is what usually comes out of that room!

Have fun, you won't be disappointed. x
