You need to apply via website for Xtasia before going to the club... search Xtasia for website and full information. 
and as they are two totally different types of club try both ...  xx |

Not been to both for a long time _tasia use to be best club in UK, but when chams opened it struggle to compete,but looking at there web site they look like they have turn the corner and back on the up, I am hopeing to visit there again very soon with a female who never been to a club before who is a swinger virgin so I might see you at _tasia  |

I've never been to _tasia but have been a regular at chams for several years. There seems to be a bit of a dip in the hot guy department at chams of late, I've been on quite a few Friday's with female friends and we've all been of the same opinion, not sure what the reason behind this is, maybe it's because it's harder for single guys to get membership. Either way, imo chams is in need of an injection of some fresh meat!  |

Can't agree more with this. We are very lucky to have two well run, great clubs of different types so close together. We love both of them and decide which one to attend depending on our mood.

Chams is far better laid out as a club.
The dress code is much better also
At _tasia you get fully clothed gawpers watching you as you try and get naughty.

I will try for sure both btw on 2nd Oct I should come to Xtasia for an organised party... the "vs" was needed to know the differences, which I think I understood now.

If you want to try Chams without getting membership, there is a BBW event on November 1st (Sunday) but you will have to get your name down on Evie`s list to get in.
Since Paul and Flirt have taken over Xtasia, they have spent loads of money on the club itself, changing the layout and a general good going over right the way through. They have even bought the pub next door and incorporated it in the pub so no d*unken men jeering you as you go in! |

Don't like Xtasia but then I go to a swingers club to play not to dance or chat endlessly! Chams is my Monday night choice (bi night). They are very different. It's up to you what you prefer. Try and see |

agree with brinksy on the need of more nice younger single men at chams.
However, having been to both my preferred choice is Chams. This is more due to preferring the social side and not wanting music blaring in my ears and smoke making my eyes water when at the bar (unless at the other end of the bar).
Xstasia is good if you like the nightclub scene, but I thought if I wanted to go to a nightclub I'd stay local. Felt a lot of people were just using it as a cheap nightclub too, instead of going up the town and paying their prices.
Chams is a more relaxed atmosphere.
This is my own opinion of the places, which you have asked for. Clearly everyone will have different opinions, but the only way for you to decide is to try both.... i know people that love and hate both |

Both very different clubs.
Chams is more full on but the jacuzzis are great and it feels more of a playing club
Xtasia isn't dress down which is a plus and it feels more like a normal night out but with the added bonus of places to go and play.
I couldn't say which I prefer to be fair, for a newbie I think _tasia is less daunting |

So have to agree with the music, you can't escape it. Even in the quiet areas it's too loud you can't think. |

I hear getting a membership for single guys is like getting a golden ticket out of a wonker bar so never tried Xtasia is just like a night club with the added bonus you don't have to wait to go home to start the fun |

Having tried both Xtasia is the club for us. Chams is a great club for playing but also more hassle. People think it's a free for all which some people prefer.
Xtasia is an experience from start to finish, flirts first to meet up with people have some food as they have now opened the kitchen and a few games of pool. Then you head into the club already knowing faces. Staff are awesome and friendly, the club is clean with supplies everywhere. They now have had some fantastic nights on to suit everyone and always striving to be the best.
Xtasia I think has become a great club for people who have never tried a club or for those from the fet scene as they have spent money on a separate play area and hold special events for that kind of play.
But we will still try chams every now and again but Xtasia we have some great friends there have had some excellent meets and play and think of Toni and Paul as very good friends xx

Never been to _tasia , but chams is the best club we have been to, as mentioned before we understand they are totally different and what we have heard _tasia is not so full on.
And there are more play rooms at chams and has the best round table room going .
So its charms all the way for us , never had a bad night and staff are so friendly and helpful

Visit gloucester regularly so gonna give _tasia a visit this fri . Been to The Venue in dublin but goin by the comments this seems to be much better so hoping to meet lots and have a fun ?nite be good if there was a thread or something for people looking to chat others going to the clubs on specific nites

I'd agree! Both great clubs - but I go to _tasia when I want dance and party (with maybe a little play later) and chams when I want to chill and play!

There used to be a "two tribes" thing a few years ago, but thankfully that has died down, as in reality, most people go to both clubs anyway. It comes down to where they feel like going on the day, much like if they feel like having a hot drink or a cold one.
A lot of the posts on this thread presume that membership is no issue, and miss the point that the OP is new to both clubs. Bearing in mind the infamous single guy waiting list at Chams, there isn't really much choice of where to go with a realistic chance of getting in.
On the subject of that waiting list, it's probably full of "hot new meat" that Binksy was wanting (see her post above), the problem is at Chams, that as all the existing members renew their membership, whilst at the same time getting older and colder each year, the problem isn't going to resolve itself any time soon.  |

Both clubs a equal Paul and flirt are a lovely couple that own _tasia have put there heart into the club over the time they have had the club so a nice club the other club yes offer the same again well presented so it is your decision to wether you attend one or other .hope this may help others but you can't put vs as they do offer the same just in a diffrent way

If this is true then it's crazy! I've never thought about it before but you're right - there are very few hot, ripped young guys there - which unsurprisingly is what gets my juices flowing!
Played with some lovely guys there but generally older than my norm. Sounds like it'll be the local derby and Joan club in 10 years then! |

As owners of Xtasia, we spent years at Chams and loved it. Our aim is to make this club just as good, without encroaching on the wet club philosophy Having two great clubs in the Midlands, providing great choice, sounds to us the perfect recipe. |
