I've not attended a club before but just got a message on here by someone who is running a club sited in a house.
They are pricing single guys at £55. Is that a lot for clubs? It sounds a lot to me and that we are just helping to pay the persons mortgage ha.
Let me know what you think. |

From my experience, that's not out of the norm for an actual club as a designated business. Not sure about clubs run out of houses though, they tend to be one of parties not established clubs although I could be wrong |

"Soft drinks and nibbles.
There is never any guarantee of sex unless you visit a prostitute"
Some clubs I've visited guarantee sex on a greedy girl night.
For drinks and nibbles in someones house, I wouldn't pay £55. But then I guess I'd be unlikely to be asked to pay that much.
However, I suppose if you take into account laundry, clear up costs etc, it can all add up. I suppose it depends on how many people are going. |

house parties im invited to, bring a bottle..no charge...i dont think this is normal OP..ive heard that some ask for contribution if like renting a hotel or house/ villa for weekend, but clubs arent that much even for single guys...could also be the fact that you are new to their circle..testing your 'commitment maybe..just a cynical thought...some people might be like that x |

You can pay that and more in some clubs south of Birmingham. Some clubs charge a membership fee and the door entry which can add up.
I personally think that is highly overpriced but this party may have a good reputation and worth paying for. For them to ask that price, some guys would be prepared to pay it!!
If they are a club (in a house) then do they have reviews in the club section on here? Maybe read reviews and see if other single guys have commented on the price and if it's worth paying.
Hope this helps

We've been invited in the past to parties held in houses where you're expected to pay an entrance fee ( we haven't attended any as they were as expensive as/or dearer than our local clubs with non of the facilities). Usually we go to house parties like the poster above mentioned bring a bottle and no other expense.
However saying that we have been to radletts and I suppose you could class that as a party in a house (entrance fee charged for buffet and towards damages cause by partygoers). However it does have lots of facilities you find at bigger clubs too so it was more like attending a club to us than a houseparty.
£55 for a single for a party in a house does seem a bit extortionate but I suppose it does depend on the location of it in the country as down south tends to be more expensive on the whole. |
