Eureka - Who, What, Where, When, Why, How?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hi all,
As you might've guessed, this little posting will just cover a few questions I have about Eureka. Fairly simple questions & I have visited the website, but reckon hearing first-hand from people who have been may give more informative answers
I am thinking about going one night, but honestly quite nervous. Clubs aren't typically my cup of tea, but I've heard great things about it.
Q: I am a young, single man. Is there a 'best' night to go for me?
Q: I have a slim build (not muscular!) Do you get many men like me?
Q: I may take the mini intro tour. What could I do afterwards?
Q: What are the numbers/ratios of people, typically?
Q: What is the 'layout' of the club like?
I'll probably ask more depending on the answers I get to it, but as I'm seriously considering it - I just want to make a well-informed decision
Thank you!

No problem at all - I'm sure there's loads out there.
@ The first two replies, I knew people would just say that Whilst that sounds easy in practice, if you haven't been to a club yet, it's not very helpful. Sure, it may be fun but I have no idea what to expect. I had expectd to say 'jump in!' etc. but at this stage, really need these questions answered. Thanks |

It's very relaxed and laid back! Depends what you're looking for as to which night you go ! Saturday is a great party night for couples, single guys and single women!
There is a Cougars and Cubs event twice a month held on a Wednesday and a Friday .... Next one is bank holiday Friday at the end of the month! This event is great as there are a number of ice breaker games played and also speed swinging ... Great way to meet new people ! Check out their profile for details ! Always best to go with no expectations to play though ! Just go with the flow ! |

Saturday nights are the busiest.
You get all types, sizes and ages of people there.
There is a spa area with hot tub, steam room and sauna.
The club starts off with the main room with seating, dance floor and bar. Next to the bar is the m/f couples room. Then there is a corridor leading to the toilets, 3 lockable play rooms and the vip room...
Hope that helps...lol |

People that don't know you or your personality won't be able to give you all the answers you want. Hence the go try it and see. Some single guys love it, some hate it. Some couples love it, some hate it, some fems love it, some hate it... see where I'm going with it?
Before Blue and I started dating he refused to go due in part to some of the questions you asked, we hooked up and he loved it there saying he didn't know what all the worry was about.
As I said to him the door in is also the door out if you don't like it. Over analyse it and you'll never go.
On the flipside we've not been for years so it could now be full of complete lunatics who devour single guys who are never heard of again...... (I joke)
Personally if you are worried about the layout and getting a feel for the place I would recommend getting a day in there first before a saturday night party when it is usually heaving with people. Pick a day with sunshine, enjoy the grounds and the pool then chill out and enjoy the party later. |

Not a bad idea. I was thinking that even if I were not to visit in the daytime, I may just go in the evening and -not- play first time, just to get a feel for things. Of course, that may change on the night but I'm not going in expecting there to be a line of people queuing for me
@ frisky - thank you for the description. I'll likely get an intro tour, yet knowing the basics is very handy.
@ sassy - Cougars and Cubs is part of the reason I'm interested in taking a look. It's not my sole reason for wanting to visit, but I always hear good things, thank you |

You get alsorts. Not every guy in a club is buff. In fact quite the opposite there's a wide range just like there are ladies!
Q: I may take the mini intro tour. What could I do afterwards?
You will take the tour if it's your first visit it best so you know what's what! Only takes 5 mins. After that get a drink, have a dance, mingle etc..
Q: What are the numbers/ratios of people, typically?
Varies! Usually a good mix though.
Q: What is the 'layout' of the club like?
The first room is the social area/bar and dance floor. Then through to the play rooms, jacuzzi etc.
I'll probably ask more depending on the answers I get to it, but as I'm seriously considering it - I just want to make a well-informed decision

Don't go with the thought that you will get laid the first night, go for the social side and if it happens so be it that way you won't have built up your hopes to play if you don't play. |

There has been some great advice on here.
If you manage to get down on a sunny day and spend a few hours in and around the pool, you are bound to get talking to people.
Come the party you already have a few people to chat with...
Give it a go...

As the previous post says, get there in the afternoon as you can chat to people more easily when its quiet which means when the party starts you will not be standing at the edge like a wallflower.
Just go along. There is nothing to worry about. It's quite dark in there during the party so you can just stand in the corner watching wide eyed or be sociable and join in. |
